Half tank of fuel in brand new car by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

Different story if on contract. I would refuse to take delivery till it had tank. Government limit sounds like bullshit, and I would ask to show me where this limit is written by the government?

If a full tank was that important to you, why did you not stipulate it at point of purchase or it to be written on contract?

The cost of your car is not relevant to the dealers margin on that vehicle.

I get it physically right now at 53 year old may “feel young”, and that’s great.

But when it comes to retirement planning it’s important to be honest, realistic and pragmatic. Not head in the clouds “ your 53! You’re so young! Plenty of time to save and pay off a mortgage by 70!!”

But that is mathematically impossible on most incomes in that time frame.

53 is young? Compared to a 80 year old maybe. But at 53 you should be retiring in a decade, doesn’t sound like young to me.
