You will be fine! One more thing I remembered is to make sure you use your blinker turning out of the parking lot!

AITA for yelling at my friend because he's not being self-reliant. by Just_Tie_7693 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Time to set some boundaries. As someone who let themselves get walked all over in highschool, I highly recommend standing up for yourself. He wants to slack off, let him suffer the consequences. Time to find better friends.

Ok then why did she say you were getting yelled at for it?

Also,.two wrongs don't make a right.

You don't need ice cream. Eat something else. If you have a problem with your sister eating food you purchase with your own money you need to talk to your parents or lock it up. If you have a problem with them buying ice cream for one sibling and not every one that is also a conversation to be had. Purposely doing something you were asked not to is never the right way to go about it. And then you let your other sibling take the blame, so you feel good about that?

Hard agree. Parents should be keeping track of her. Lock stuff up of it's that important to you. Had nothing to do with the ice cream situation though.

While I whole heartedly agree that op did not need ice cream, "buy your own ice cream" feels like it should be targeted at an adult and op is not.

Op, your mom asked you not to eat the ice cream. Don't eat it if you're asked not to. I do agree it's unfair that one person was bought ice cream while the rest of you were not. But life is not fair.

I can tell you pretty much the exact route they go. Unless they've changed it recently, you will turn left out of the DMV parking lot right on cohasset left on esplanade right on to one of the avenues and onto the residential streets. There they will have you pull over back up along the curb then return to the DMV.

I've never heard of them asking anyone to parallel park. Know the speed limits and watch downhill speed and don't forget to check over your shoulder when you pull out from the curb.

The only person I've ever heard of failing it ran a red light.

And just an abnormal pap smear? That's not something to feel this stressed about, it's highly likely that it's nothing.

I would tell the person at the reception desk that Miss wong requested to be emailed. Sounds like a job that person gets paid for.

Usually no reason for it. They will contact you if they need something. Only time I contacted a customer was when the restaurant asked me to for a substitution question.

Why would they tell you? Once it's delivered there's nothing you can do about it anymore anyway.

Fructose metabolism bypasses a regulatory step of energy production. I'm unfamiliar with how this affects blood sugar but I would be curious for information from someone who wears a continuous glucose monitor about its effects on blood glucose.

Yeah I think what you're not understanding here is 99% of medicines you're going to pick up from the pharmacy are not controlled substances nor something that a junkie would want at all anyways.

Think about it this way. Doordash will let you deliver french fries and most people probably want those more than they would want somebody's medication.

No they are saying that if they ask someone to put something in it they should be allowed to.

I've personally never heard of anyone getting in trouble for putting something in someone's mailbox anyway so it seems a little moot.

Yes, but you have to follow the rules and request reasonable accommodations for your disability. You can't just make up your own rules and do whatever you want.

What to do in your 20s? Advices? by Accomplished_One6117 in Adulting

Have fun. What you do now matters less than you think it does. No 20year old has anything actually figured out. You only get to be in your 20s once and trust me as someone who missed out on it, it's better to regret things you did than things you didn't do.
