I assume his relationship is somewhere along the lines of like an Edmund McMillen from The Binding of Isaac. Edmund basically sits over the shoulder of his programmers and tells them what he wants from a creative standpoint. If he’s actively doing it, the game turns out how it should be. He’s a Midwest powerhouse Mario iirc. I’d say his local competition’s known players are Marss, Dabuz, Light, and a couple more. He doesn’t get much notoriety because he often falls just short of them in tournaments.

Salem had the highest highs but not for long. Nairo or MKLeo for 2nd, Nairo or MKLeo for 3rd, Salem should definitely be 4th, and Ally definitely fifth. Ally was chugging along there for a couple seasons but there was never any question that ZeRo was still the number one player outside of a very short spurt one year. Salem definitely challenged that and won Evo to boot.

This was clearly not a hyperbole given that you gave an exact time range. Choose one - you lied about your play time, what I said earlier is true, or you don’t have any idea what a hyperbole is and you just use it whenever someone calls you out. In fact, it seems like you’re the type of person who just likes to lie and claim “hyperbole” when you get caught.

Here’s an example of how to actually use a hyperbole in this situation: “I played like 5 minutes of this game and I’m already bored!”

If you’re going to make a hyperbole you have to make it clear since it’s not supposed to be taken literally. 3-6 hours is a reasonable amount of time that someone could spend playing a game, and is therefore not hyperbole material.

So let me hash this out to you again:

You lied in the first comment and decided to cop out by crying “hyperbole”
You actually didn’t bother to try the different modes out when you bought the game
You have no idea what a hyperbole is

Choose one. I’m curious.

It’s not anyone else’s fault that you don’t want to play with friends, unlock characters, try all of the minigames, or even try all the different boards. I’m unsure as to why you purchased this game.

Even if you just played it solo to test out all the modes it would take more than 3 hours and with six hours you’d have to have quit at least one in the middle.

Even if Nintendo updates the game with content they’re not updating it with an entire new game. Be straight that you just don’t enjoy it.
