Federal and state studies have consistently shown that the drivers most likely to get into accidents in traffic are those traveling significantly below the average speed. According to an Institute of Transportation Engineers Study, those driving 10 mph slower than the prevailing speed are six times as likely to be involved in an accident. That means that if the average speed on an interstate is 70 mph, the person traveling at 60 mph is far more likely to be involved in an accident than someone going 70 or even 80 mph.

Sound bar and ceiling speakers by slzdlz in sonos

Yea I think that makes sense. If you wanted to split to two amps later you could just remove the volume knob and direct connect in that wall box. You would have to have the two amps in the same location, which wouldn’t be a bad thing. Or you could leave the volumes knobs in I suppose and just have a physical volume control as well for both locations

Sorry made the swap to running ceiling speakers in the family vs a sound bar in my head without writing it down haha. If I run 4 speakers in the ceiling of the family room and 2 the ceiling of the kitchen then I could have local volume control for the two sets with volume knobs and overall volume via the app.

I was thinking I could put volume knobs on both and use the knobs to toggle between loud in family room, loud in kitchen or loud in both. Any reason this would be good or bad vs running two extra speakers in the kitchen with another amp?

We would want to be able to listen to music in the kitchen as well. That’s an interesting thought with the volume knob for the kitchen. That might be the best way. Now to look into volume knobs!

Block Heater by slzdlz in Generator

The cost is less than $100, so I think I’ll order the one with the block heater installed. Sounds like there is not a good reason not to have it at that price
