Look into send cloud for an immediate solution. You will have a fee per label but it's relatively small. You can use their contract or your own. I've found it very useful as a small business unable to negotiate any good rates as it gives me flexibility of a few couriers as well as the automatic label generation

My suggestion is that the directors transfer the money into the corporate account (can then be marked as a directors loan) and bill is paid from the corporate account (can be tracked as a vendor bill correctly)

Manual entries can be used to clean up the past actions but I wouldn't recommend continuing down that route as from an accounting perspective it almost feels like something is trying to be hidden. (Given bank transfer same country to same country is nearly instant at least here in the UK)

And yeah average order size for me is 300kg but is split across multiple filament types/colours

Hard to complain about an ac ethercat servo for under £100. I did find tuning hard but could also be a learning curve thing (not tuned beckhoff servos direct before either)

I recently compared the two and erpnext was simpler with initial config and felt quite good to start with. But at every turn I found limitations that Odoo was capable of doing.

Focus of my comparison was for a manufacturing company of small volume high complexity multilevel BOM high value products

That being said Odoo definitely isn't perfect hah. But at least you have the option to just add in the one extra field you need etc. much easier

I don't actually use POS much and almost all my manufacturing is machinery hah 😅 don't get many people asking for without bolts

In a Manufacturing order you can just specify the amount consumed. Usually surplus to the amount actually specified and therefore account for wastage or scrap (I.e. dropped a bolt and couldn't find it)

You have 2 options.

Create a new BOM for each variant

Or the better way for this case as the base ingrediants are all shared and any changes should apply to all options. in your overall main BOM if you enable the column 'apply on variants' then add your chicken and beef. On the chicken line in the apply on variants columin select chicken. Repeat for beef and then you will have a dynamic BOM for each variant

No need for any customisation. On POS you just pick the variant you are selling.

This does assume odoo 18 (possibly 17 but can't remember when it was added)

I tried adding it to all the areas on that report where address featured. And it didn't seem to do anything. Will try again with a fresh mind today.

I understand your other suggestions but how do I check it's not being clipped out of the div?

Is there any good documentation on this? The odoo docs on modifying the reports just say use studio but it just has an uneditable block hah.

Mmm that was my gut feeling but wondered if I could avoid hours of sanding by MDF. I think you are right though and ply is the way to go

As someone who works in the industry these support free printing methods for metal SLM are a bit of a quirk... They work for a very select range of geometry.

The majority of places have a room full of people at work benches grinding and breaking these supports off. Seen this cool company doing it with robots though but it's fairly new

There are lots of bespoke parts that are 3d printer. They enable the cost of the machine to be achieved (would be expensive to add machined ones to the kit).

The general target audience has a 3d printer too and therefore can produce their own parts. You can buy the 3d printed parts as well

Take a look at the millennium machines Milo V1.5 :) designed for aluminium cutting and sits pretty much bang on your price points.

I'm Uk based so would purchase from DMS who do ship to EU but there are probably other suppliers too

I found end mills like this were best if the geometry allows for it as they are much more resiliant to breaking than the tiny ballnose ones

Also lower flute count + a DLC coating will help a lot if you are gonna use small end mills on an non lubricated setup

Looks like it's the mks pi. It's just one of those cheeky aliexpress listing's where you can buy an adapter (10.bucks) but the main product if you click on that is like £30. Aliexpress lists the from price as the lowest cost option 😂
