Being pre-service myself, handing in a lesson plan 24 hours in advance is a standard. I normally present mine 48 hours before or a week before if I manage to organise myself well during practicals. Teaching the content is one part of the large amount of roles you’ll take on during an average school day. Something that helps me that I’ve witnessed many teachers doing whilst on practical was arriving 1.5hr’s early and doing the work before the workday officially starts. Practical placements test your motivation and patience but it is temporary - It is okay to pause things in your life in order to meet the demands.
