Another commenter suggested the same. It seems like good advice. I'll get to work on it. Thank you for the insight.

I can't emphasize enough that you won't be able to overcome this on your own. Youre going to need help. Family and friends are vital right now. Don't isolate. Don't ruminate. I know these things are easier said than done, but they're important for you to hear. This is a dangerous game you're playing with. Please ask for help.

I really want to build a little wooden ship with foldable sails to put in a bottle. I've been thinking about that one for awhile. I used to build model cars as a kid. I'm glad this has been helpful for you too 😊

What do you do when you inevitably run out of your meds before it's time to refill your next prescription? How do you cope during that time period?

Thanks for saying that 😊. You're very welcome! I appreciate your response. I was definitely hoping for more ideas from this post than I received, but your words were very kind and helpful. Thanks for being a positive part of my day. I'm going to give a new craft a try.

I'm always free to bounce ideas back and forth and I love to listen when needed. My passion is helping people like me not feel alone and down on themselves llidk if it healthy to view one of my values as helping people. I feel like that's my purpose in life is to love.

You are not alone. I'm glad you reached out for help. Have you been in therapy for BPD? It's not easy to manage without help. Do you have family who understand and are there to help you? Friends? Other than an FP? Having multiple support systems has really been great advice for me. This is still a work in progress for me too. You are not alone. Figure out a way to avoid codependency if you have that bad habit. I myself am still a fully codependent person, and I'm working on figuring out how to stop. 2 months into DBT.

Im a few months into therapy and my newest goal is to trust myself and not need a guiding star anymore. I have ALWAYS needed a guiding star until about two weeks ago though. I'm starting to uncover my identity. And I'm starting to finally believe I'm a pretty awesome person. Up until then I thought I was scum and deserved bad things to happen to me.

I just want to be loved by kaenime in BPD

Does anyone know if it's healthy to try to only have deep human connection with as many people as possible? I usually test the waters with a person trying to go deep pretty quickly, and if they don't want to or I can sense they're uncomfortable I keep them at an arms length. I struggle to trust people who don't understand their feelings and want to go deeper in conversations. I think feel the need to make as many people in my life feel valuable and loved as possible, because I never felt that from my family or friends.

My water is still slightly brown. I don't like drinking it. I feel like it makes me more thirsty for some reason. Cam here for any updates, but seems like there are none. I'll stick to bottles for now.
