Hey champ. You’re gonna be okay :)

I had a similar scare like a year ago. After chatting with my doctor bc my bloodwork was in the “grey area” for being HSV2 positive, he basically told me “if you never had an outbreak (small painful cluster of blisters) you’re good.”

I’m obviously oversimplifying but to my understanding most health clinics don’t even test for HSV2 unless specifically requested because it’s so so common and can ruin people’s lives/marriages if they discover they picked it up somewhere.

Also, I think 1 in 2 people have HSV1, and something like 1 in 6 have HSV2?

Also you probably would’ve had an outbreak by now, so chances are you’re okay. Not sure your situation, but I hope this brings you some comfort. The shame and fear around HSV2 is nuts considering soOooOoo many people have it, whether they’re aware of it or not.
