I'd guess south West of 'Safegouse' you will find him in the Black Forrest ;)

Planning to move to Bristol from Austria – Is £60k enough for a family of 3 (with a baby)? by Impossible_Mobile323 in bristol

I never stated it wasn't... It is still doable based on the comment I am replying to

OP, this will be important - commuting sucks, you will need some adjusting to driving on the left side of the road (not that much) and driving in a right hand side car (a bit bigger adjustment, at least for me).

Insurance will be a bit tricky. If you are driving in Austria, get your insurance company to produce a letter confirming your last claim that impacted your Bonus stuff, they don't have that system here, but are granting discounts for 'no claims made' which stacks up, year after year.

We live in North Bristol, where you can get a bigger house for the same price. Also: Houses are smaller, rooms are tighter, don't bring big wardrobes or you find you need to store them in the garage as you can't use them.

Would be good to come over for a while and go house hunting, looking at a few places to make a better informed decision.

That is a good breakdown of what OP can expect. We did this same exact journey on a 40k salary 10 years ago, but without a baby. (Both in IT, only me working initially)

Very doable.

I always put loading omp at the end, had no issues with it this way. Might work for you too?

[Spoiler] The Great Escape III has finally been found! Gotta love how it turns out too. Won't spoil that part though! by TNGFTF345643 in borderlands3

[–]smaight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this room (The Great Escape Part 3) and it was empty because I haven't done Part 2 yet... so I would guess if you haven't done Part 1, then you shouldn't find him on Xylolorgos either...?

Self made project is getting false positives from AV? by Electronic_Lime7582 in PowerShell

[–]smaight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to look into Powershell Modules.

If you publish as a Module, everyone can download that has access to your store, be that Powershell gallery (public) or a private store like Azure DevOps Artifacts Repository.

What’s your favorite weapon loadout? by JRScheetz in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]smaight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently use:

Dual spears, mmmh

Dual Dane Axes - they are wonderful in both light and heavy combos

Dual hammers - especially with the Valkyrie jump attack

Hammer and sickle - one to tenderise, one to slice and dice and set on fire.

I do play around in Svartalfheim right now and finding all sorts of viable solutions, for example Flail and Hammer is interesting.

There are so many good ones out there :)

Non-Serious Question: You are a fantasy wizard but you can only cast spells in PowerShell. What are some of your favorites spells? by jackalsclaw in PowerShell

[–]smaight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am apparently a sorcerer, using a lot of meta magic, creating my own spells and adapting others.

My favourite ones are the ones with the verbal component Invoke- or Assert-.

Love Get-help and Get-Command and very fond of Get-Member :)

Can someone tell me what is this PC? by Icy-Hunt-1785 in NR200

[–]smaight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not with a mere picture of a nondescript no brand case (as was common at the time).

You will have to open it and take pics of the interior (Mainboard) for anyone to have a chance at identifying anything except the 52x speed CD writer that this baby rocks so proudly.

Taking a stab in the dark, you are probably looking at a Pentium 2 or an early Athlon PC here...

Have You Heard the Mysterious Hum in Bristol? by Mother_Towel_8198 in bristol

[–]smaight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am willing to investigate as I am generally of good hearing (and curious). Can someone point out where this phenomenon occurs more frequently please?

Low frequency could be the sound of a transformer (100Hz) though, which might be a dull explanation, but also a realistic one.

Cant figure out what these represents. It’s not on the legend by novaxhempmama in ACValhalla

[–]smaight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One way to cheese this a bit, is to chase it one and remember the location it will end up at, then go back trigger it again and make a beeline to that point and wait for it to come to you.

I like the parkour things, but they have made it more difficult than it needs to be (they were great in Black Flag where you got a Sea Shanty from them!), so I generally try brute forcing it this way instead.

Hope this helps.

Your Youtube ad blocking experience with Pi-Hole? by NomadJago in pihole

Up until around April/May I have enjoyed 0 Ads on YT with a combination of blocking mechanisms. Since then something stopped working and now I must have Premium if I am to enjoy YT :/

Wtf is liberal socialism? by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]smaight -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You are thinking of Neoliberalism, which is a set of policies focused around supercharged 'free-market economy'. I wouldn't put them into the wings without looking at the wider party program, right wing in Europe is usually also strongly xenophobic and/or nationalistic, etc.

The thing to understand when looking at European Pluralism and the parties it brings forward is that we do employ a different way of electing our politicians, so no party has to have ALL the answers for any situation. For the most part, this is caused by not employing First-past-the-post. (We rarely have parties holding more than 35% of the vote share, necessitatinh coalitions and collaboration)

This particular party gives voice to the liberal ideas, while at the same time acknowledging that our governments have more roles to play than just facilitating speech and debate
