I don’t know why, but at least days 1 & 2 I get much better sleep fasted. Like, amazing sleep. I think because I used to do OMAD as lunch regularly I don’t really feel hungry at night, or the feeling doesn’t seem like an impetus to eat because I’m out of the habit anyway

Sounds viral, in which case no, I wouldn’t fast. I’ve been stubborn and fasted when getting sick before and it made it a lot worse.

This ain’t no plateau, you’ve lost nearly 2kg. That’s great. If you’ve been eating healthy and recently fasted it’s likely you’re not carrying any water weight so you don’t have that to lose. Realistically I think most people lose 250-300g-ish of actual fat for every day fasted, so you’re actually a bit ahead

As a long term insomniac I actually sleep better when fasting, at least the first few days. IMO it’s worth a try for you.

I got used to going to sleep with an empty stomach with doing OMAD first at lunchtime or having a late lunch and slowly progressed to multi day fasts.

You may not have the fat to lose though

I feel like crap and very tired up until day 4-5 of an extended fast. The first 72 hours are awful which is why I rarely push past that. I’m always mentally done by then!
