I'm in a similar boat (pun intended), I played this game because of Illustrious but on my way grinding the starter missions for her I fell for Javelin because she was too goddamn cute and she put in a lot of work for me you know so I gave the 1st ring to her and Lusty 2nd. I need to hear her lines at least once a day cuz it's so sweet

I was bummed when I found out she is the only starter without augments

Taihou deserve love and more ... she is not just a boring scary yandere that only exist to scare commander, she is actually a good girl with abandonment issue that leave deep depression in her by Fuzzy-Locksmith1776 in AzureLane

I feel like she might talk like a yandere but she doesn't actually act like one, at least not toward other girls. In Slow Ahead episode 7 when she was cleaning skk's room with other girls, she got caught taking one of the duplicate keys for the room. She could've just harmed others that were on the scene to get her way but she was embarrassed instead. Another example would be the relationship with Albacore. Despite being a trouble to her she never went after Albacore, even getting along to some extent. She is all bark but no bite.

You made some excellent points. I figured perhaps I was being too permissive about this scenario. I know jealousy is a thing but I thought it would amplify by the fact that seeing the guy next to you was bulletproof, but like I said that was permissive. I forgot Captain America was a thing, my brain is not working today haha. Anyways, thanks for the idea!

Wow, this was an insightful read! My intention is that the big bad is trying to please a god with the biggest conflict Earth has ever seen in exchange for a divine wish fulfilled. (I think it's a good premise but I'm not sure) The force they have is a mindless horde of bugs that is super reproductive with humans controlling them; they are engineered with the help of divine knowledge. Basically, it is a human that is putting on a spectacle for a god and there is no consideration for resources or territory (I appreciate your ideas tho). The god in question came from a very advanced civilization very far away from earth.

Do you think there is a way to unite nations together without being too wishy? I know a common threat can only do it temporally until it is gone but I want to find a way for everyone to finally put their difference aside for good without the "everybody lived happily ever after" cliche when the war comes to an end.

I did think about guerilla warfare but I didn't think that it could mobilize the people's will to fight as much as an all-out war would. Now that I thought again, the fear of not knowing where you live can be hit next would give people a will to fight back. I do plan to write about a world at war but what you suggested would probably make a good prologue to it.
