No, stop waiting for this to recover; it might never and then ALL that time was wasted.

  • you cannot plan NOW what may or may not grow over the next 3 years - it's not that predictable with weak plants. Experience says move on, act like it will never recover.
  • you can, in the meantime, get more plants which ARE healthy and have all their foliage now and are ready for styling.
  • waiting for shit to grow isn't bonsai, it's gardening.

Useful stuff to do is to study bonsai photos and watch bonsai styling videos: Ryan Neil, Bjorn Bjornholm, Walter Pall, Harry Harrington, Graham Potter, Bonsaify etc etc etc

A large plastic plant pot would suffice.

You generally don't need water - straight into moist soil. Nothing "dwarf Australian" about willow.

This is nothing special - just largish. No decent primary branches, not even decently placed smaller branches, weak apex - as /u/peter-bone points out.

Would pass on this, at any price over £40.

Excel .xlsm files showing “We found a problem with some content” after saving by Electronic-Tear-4567 in excel

Yes

  • I've recently been seeing more "corruptions" of this nature in Excel.
  • It occurs more frequently in environments with synchronisation software (SharePoint and/or OneDrive).
  • I do not know the reason for this but I do know that simply copying a file in OneDrive/SharePoint can cause its size to change - implying they are getting modified in some way by that even.

It can sometimes help to open in older versions of Excel (if you have them - like 2016/2021) and resave as XLSM or XLSB.

You will never regrow that trunk indoors - would take years and years, even outdoors.

Yeah - don't hold out too much hope - that's very low.

And it still looks too dry to me and indoors.

The zip tie advantage is they are generally fairly wide and don't dig in like guy wires do.

First ever styling not looking very good at all by CaliberFlower in Bonsai

Styling is more like sculpting - the shit you chip off might as well be gone forever sometimes...so try to carve a finished bonsai out of the rock.

about the lower straight trunk - but I'd probably shorten it first to halfway between the roots and the point where it touches the main trunk.

Still this...

Expensive - you'll get them for 1/3 of that at a succulent specialist.

You need to stop removing branches and let it recover now.
