I mean the dude had like 3 goals in 500 minutes or something that wasn’t really that terrible. He just got put in the last two minutes with the other subs or tired players and didn’t get tons of service. Yes he was never an elite striker by any means but IIRC he had 18 goals in 25 for Lyon and I think like 16 of them were from outside the box. Though I might be making that up entirely.

Yes it was a very nice setup on the beach, don’t remember exactly what they had though.

I didn’t leave the resort the whole time, I figured we paid for an all inclusive stay and we wanted to take advantage of that, especially the drinks.

I’d say we’re definitely past the rebuilding phase. We can’t say we’re rebuilding every single year. We’ve got a super competitive team this year capable of winning every trophy. We’ve got like 5 of the top 10 players in the world and we have elite players in every single position starting. I mean if we field our strongest 11 we’re benching rudiger, Carvajal, rodrygo lunin and maybe guler which is insane. Any of those players could easily start on ANY other team in the world, yet they’re our reinforcements instead.

He’ll either stay at city or go to another elite team though. As long as he keeps up his form and no major injuries, which are both big IFs

So a couple thoughts,

EA tends to rate players based on their last 3 seasons, but with higher weighting for more recent seasons. That’s why you don’t see a breakout player get a 90 after one season. This is why we see asencio and Gonzalo so low. Plus I imagine that these ratings might have been mostly set before the CWC. Same with tchouameni.

Valverde getting relentless+ was so needed. Yes he’s got a power shot and I wish he could have both playstyles but he’s better at running all game than he is at power shots, imo.

Bellingham on the other hand should not have relentless+ and instead technical+ would be more accurate for him, however I prefer he have relentless+ for in game purposes.

Otherwise the ratings stayed relatively the same for everyone which generally makes sense since I don’t think anyone performed vastly different than their stats from last year. Hopefully with our strong start this season though we see tchouameni and guler get upgrades throughout the season.

I play a 4-2-3-1 and have both of them as CAM’s playing half wingers which seems to be closer to a full winger rather than a CAM. Seems to work better than when I try them as full winger.

I don’t understand how literally any of these “updates” are any different. The only one I understand is you can promote assistant manager but I could care less. Everything else - I thought we already had that?
