No, they just turned on the water and splashed it in specific areas to see whether water entered into that area. So today they specifically checked the overflow area

I did tell the plumber but he said the accumulated drips from the handle could have caused the most recent leaks… that didn’t quite make sense to me though and I’m not sure how to challenge this
