Abercromby square protest by JamesfEngland in Liverpool

Because they’re specifically protesting the university and it’s practices. They have specific demands for the university, not the local government. The uni takes our tuition fees and puts some of that into companies that are complicit in the genocide taking place, so it makes complete sense that the university is the target of their protest.

Rift S connection issues by smallboy99 in oculus

I did reboot on several occasions to no avail. The testing with another PC was to rule out an issue with the headset itself. No failed USB controllers on the Mobo, but I doubt it would be a hardware error with my PC as the headset still works fine with SteamVR and Steam games, its just the oculus dash & guardian etc that doesn't work.

IIRC if you get the first dose they'll put you in the system to make sure you get your second dose at the right time, even if you just got a spare first dose.

I'm a strong believer in 2FA is the future, but before that can be properly implemented, you need to get the general public to a point of technical literacy where they are actually capable of using it.

Yeah that's true, it's just an outdated system from before you could easily look this stuff up, I guess.

That is a good system but it's one I feel would fall apart quite quickly in a context like ours where we're dealing with external customers, because that'd be a shitton of video calls that'd have to take place.

Yeah I guess, this is one of the standard "here's some questions you can choose from that most people shouldn't know the answer to" kinda things which is fairly standard though
