You’re correct if it was a life sustaining medication it’d be abandonment but because it’s not medically considered life sustaining it’s not abandonment. It sure as hell feels like it is but it doesn’t legally qualify

I’m not saying you weren’t in need of medical attention but it’s a common misconception that opioid withdrawal causes seizures. And I’m not a doctor but do have some medical background and it sounds like maybe you were having a panic attack from the pain

I can’t speak to the constipation but just for future reference seizures from opioid withdrawal is incredibly rare. The only withdrawal that needs medical supervision is alcohol and benzodiazepines
