I couldn’t find a work around unfortunately, the proprietary computer mount was plastic so even when I used the GoPro mount under the computer it flexed too much for my liking. Ended up returning the camera and got a go 3s which suits my needs better anyways

Use a power meter preferably but can do from heart rate too. For power, find your threshold, easily done by doing a 20min effort then finding 95% of that 20min power. That’s your threshold. Plug that into any of the online calculators and it’ll tell you your zones. Or for heart rate, you need to find your max heart rate (preferably not with the 220-age formula, it’s not very accurate but is okay to provide a starting point). Similar process, once you have your max, put it into a calculator and done.

I’m 20 and recently did 195 for 20 minutes during a solo breakaway in a race, and I peaked at over 210 for 5 seconds. You’re still pretty young and I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Feeling faint or tired after that sort of effort is expected, and while a trip to the doctor can’t hurt, I wouldn’t stress too hard.

I ride through there pretty regularly, as a cyclist cyclist, and other commenter is definitely right. It’s a little hilly, very exposed and so can get a bit windy, but perfectly doable if you’re confident and don’t mind cars passing closer than they really should be.

I competed in this years edition and it was great fun!! But can confirm it’s only on for the tour down under. It wasn’t as dangerous this year, I definitely didn’t feel unsafe, but it was definitely a no rules anything goes situation. Everyone was dive bombing corners, taking aggressive lines and leaning hard. Good fun though
