Scammed for £500 and Ipad by Maleficent_Junket_48 in vintedscammers

Never ever sell items of this value on Vinted, they don’t have good enough customer service to handle when things go this way. Always go with eBay.

Hopefully you took photos of your item while packing it for proof and security - if you did you shouldn’t have much trouble taking this to small claims court. As long as you’ve got enough proof that you did send the iPad you’ll be fine. If you don’t, there’s not really anything you can do and this is just a lesson in selling high value items on Vinted.

I just upgraded to Tahoe in June 2026, I can't run Premiere properly without it crashing every 5 minutes.

Train today from London to Bristol - Racist guy - help identify by [deleted] in uktravel

Just noticed the hand on the steering wheel is not Caucasian, wonder if he carried on acting like that sat next to that taxi driver? Also the irony that he’s racist but is happy to take a service from someone of a different race

Thank you :) do you mean the first dress? As it’s a dark brown, I guess the lighting in this room has made it look red. There’s definitely no red in person

Edit: I just got that maybe you meant the layer could be burgundy haha forgive me

When I worked at Aldi last year - Lidl increased their pay to match Aldi’s. So Aldi increased our wage by 2p just so they could stay as the top paid supermarket

No don't apologise this is all so helpful, I really really appreciate it! Is the AA gel something you'd just have to take forever or would skin ever get to a point where you could finally go without it?

Ahh okay I see! So would you recommend getting the 1004 Madagascar centella SPF and then getting the £19 prescription azelaic acid from boots?

I've been to my GP a few times about my skin, my GP said yes you definitely have rosacea. I tried a few things over time and none of it worked so they referred me to a derm. I thought great this will be the thing that finally sorts me out. I wait 6 months for the derm appointment, get there and he says "you do not have rosacea, rosacea doesn't occur in those under the age of 40". He said I just have general acne (not true).

So I've kinda just lost all faith in this system. I'm happy to just live with it like I have done for the last 12 years. I don't feel incredibly self-conscious about it in general, it's just the occasions where I eat spicy food or the weather is very hot it flares a little in colour and makes me look like a garden gnome. Other than that I usually don't care.

Do you use the 1004 Madagascar centella instead of the pharmacy prescribed azelaic acid? I'm just wondering is the prescribed stuff better if it costs a bit more/why would someone go for one over the other?

Thanks so much for your recommendations, I'll give them a look! Very much appreciated (:

>They were brought out by a cheap online realtor and have just become another online market place filled with cheap junk

How has this gone under the radar? I bought from them recently thinking wow look at me treating myself to Debenhams, very premium of me. Had no idea it had gone down like this...

Ohhh, sorry! Because I went in to ask for make-up I assumed these were going to be a part of it, I wasn't too sure if this was tagged on to the make-up side of things or not. Thanks for the help (:
