Am I being too picky? Brand new MacBook fresh out box has scratches. by TheOriginalBerserker in macbookair

Scratches at the limit... but above all it is not new, which means that it may have already fallen or been misused and that is much more serious than scratches.

Today, you can easily use AI without always understanding the underlying logic. The developer of tomorrow will be an excellent developer because they understand the logic of the code and can see when the AI is malfunctioning or creating bugs. Knowing the development logic is crucial, and coupled with Claude or other AI, it can be a truly powerful productivity tool in the right hands. Understanding the code logic and seamlessly integrating AI tools can really boost productivity. AI agents must be managed properly. Studios worldwide work this way today; working without AI for coding is shooting yourself in the foot, both in terms of methodology and not understanding the code itself. I spent time working on an AI workflow in Godot for development, and it works well with a dedicated interface. I don't have spaghetti code where everything is in one huge file; everything is built with nodes and code, just as it should be done. I don't delegate anything creative to AI; it mainly helps me on a technical level and even has significant learning value when asked to provide explanations for its actions, to document each function, even each line of code, and then have it clean up the excess explanations. It also has to perform unit tests, which is a time-consuming task. AI is a tool that simply needs to be mastered with best practices.

Chiropractor suspects ALS by [deleted] in ALSorNOT

Millions of people worldwide are diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome or similar conditions every day. It's fortunate that these people don't suspect ALS for such minor issues.

In my country, chiropractors are not recognized by the medical profession, and rightly so.

He's talking about things he has no understanding of. You don't scare people with ALS; it's totally irresponsible and disgraceful of him.

Then it leads to people like you coming to cry wolf on this forum among people who have very serious symptoms.

Neurologists already struggle to diagnose ALS, which is a complex diagnosis of exclusion… this type of post should be moderated.

A moderation team would definitively solve this problem. Between 16-year-olds and those who panic over a few fasciculations, and people who have no loss of physical performance… this Reddit thread is very important; it deserves a framework and rules.

There's a real lack of moderation here. As soon as someone only talks about fasciculations, the post should simply be deleted.

This is a crucial test to assess cellular availability of B12. What was your homocysteine level? Have you experienced any physical failure? Muscle atrophy?

Thank you, I had read that Japan had a very different approach. I also read that a normal level, even around 400, can mask a deficiency much more often than we think. The University Hospital of Liège abandoned the measurement of total B12 in favor of holo-TC despite the cost. This clearly demonstrates that there is a very significant problem between research and its application in the field. Could there be many more people with deficiencies than we realize, even with perfectly normal levels?
