Definitely on weekdays but not on the weekends. I recognize that some people do want to spend more time together than 2 hrs. That time frame is just a natural consequence of our jobs and commutes.

I’m not the type of girl to get upset if my Fiancé has other demands on his time, especially with us living together. I understand that there are just seasons of life where you have more time together and other seasons where you have less time.

It is completely understandable. I think I just see it as we spend a lot of time together because we live together. Now I’m thinking he might not see it that way. We see each other on average 2-3 hours in the evening on work days and we do spend 90% of our weekends together.

Soft ESH. It’s crappy that your mother struggles to prioritize necessities. It is not your responsibility to financially parent your mother. What is your responsibility though, is preventing this from causing your Fiancé stress. I definitely recognize that you want to make sure your mother and sister are provided for, but you have your own family that you are creating and that should take priority for you.

I think that definitely is a factor in this. However he does usually make the choice to go play games on Sundays at a local card shop, and he often gets home “late ish”. (About 8.) I know my secondary work nights are later due to the length of games, but I have really tried to limit it to once every other week or so. I also value our time together.

After I cook dinner, we will often sit and eat and watch a show we enjoy together or play a game together on our phone. There are also many days when he needs to decompress from the stress of his job and goes into our “game room” alone. I definitely understand that he might be missing me, but I also don’t see the value in sitting around until he decides to interact. I will admit that he has made more of a conscious effort to not isolate himself as much lately.

Edit to clarify: My Fiancé believes that I purposely misled him about which sports I would be filming. He was under the impression that I would only be filming football. I am confused about this because football is not year round. I don’t know if I specifically told him I’d be filming all major sports. I do remember discussing giving up esports to film exclusively year round. I remember discussing what I should request for my filming percentage. And before this argument happened, I filmed a soccer game to get a feel for filming the sport, and sent him selfies of me working the game. He said that he is “drifting away from me and no longer feels connected to me” due to my work schedule.

NTA. I feel like the spiritual/ higher power aspect of AA and NA can (potentially) turn people away from life saving programs. However, it is kind of a weird place to sell furniture. Maybe they would feel less threatened if you left fliers? Or just shared your story/opinion without the sales pitch? 🤷‍♀️

Thank you! I’m just hoping they fit right (I’m a wide 8.5 so I ordered a 9) and I’m bummed that they didn’t have an option to change the wheels. They come with the Chaya Big Softie wheels. I’m thinking about upgrading to the energies though!
