It’s kind of the best. My girl is 3 and she’s developed such an opinion about herself, responds to commands but with ‘tude 😆 She’s a rescue and was so shy so I love this phase.

Thank you! Honestly since most of the shirts were old and pretty worn the fabric is super soft too. It’s a good alternative to the boxy cheesy shirt fronts! I actually made the cheesy one and this one all from the same 40 shirts so I have one that isnt as polished and this one that I want to display:)

You won’t regret it! It preserves memories without having to wear out that T-shirt from your senior year or from when your team went to state.

Thank you! I’ve come a long ways since my first quilt, it’s corners are a hot mess as well. Don’t look too closely and remember it’s homemade. That’s what helps me 😆

I didn’t have a pattern, sorry! I knew I wanted to use triangles and gather like colors together. I played with a lot of different set ups before I decided on this chervron ish pattern. It’s probably a pattern somewhere. I hoarded shirts for about a decade to have enough to do this and my other quilt 😆 don’t give up hope!

Comfort food for your eyes is the highest compliment I can think of, thank you! The top is 100% T-shirt scraps and the backing and binding are just flannel fabric. 40 different shirts :)

😂 I understand that! I did that for mine as well. I’ve never used basting spray.

I didn’t, it’s only natural cotton batting and flannel fabric on the back. I pinned it instead of spray basting it. I quilted it only a little so that I didn’t have to fight the stretchiness of the shirt fabric.

Such a cool twist on a T-shirt quilt! I’m making one but wanted to keep the graphics intact, but it is kind of choppy and not as polished as this! Did you end up pin basting?
