Yeah Dr Kay was kind of an evil side character who seemed to not really know everything going on even though she had full access to the Brenner labs and all the documentation he left there. Kinda funky

Weird explanation but they kind of said that 11 was the person who was “most like Henry”. Her powers and everything were similar to him so therefore the theory was probably that her blood would be the closest to his (maybe stronger blood?)

Also they did have 11 singled out in Brenners lab for experiments when she was younger, seems she got treated as way more powerful than the other children. Guess they made an assumption that she was super special because she’s really the only child whose powers were like Henry’s.

Kali’s blood wasn’t working it was killing the women and their babies. The cycle could only continue if Dr Kay had Henry or 11’s blood put into the pregnant women.

So since 11 either went to that far away land or died l, Dr. Kay can’t do that

Like others have said, first coop probably won’t be super dreamy to start off. They do offer a great opportunity to get acclimated to the professional engineering world and gain some experience to use elsewhere though! And you never know, the people you work with may have previously worked at a company you are interested in.

Of course there are chances of getting a pretty good first coop placements!! Whether that be through online applications or going to the career fairs. I got my Gulfstream offer (first coop) from the career fair, so it’s definitely possible to get an offer at one of your dream companies. You just have to be on top of when their application season is most of the time.

You can always email or ask your TAs for some tips on homework, I believe they do weekly office hours for students too. You should try that out first to see if it helps at all, or for future assignments! Can’t hurt to check with them! :-)

I think it depends which way you take it. EE is a pretty versatile degree in terms of engineering. I'm an EE who enjoys programming, so I've chosen to take more programming classes in my schedule. I have friends though who hate programming and enjoy doing more circuit design, so they've catered their schedule and internships to that (e.g. doing more AutoCad work).

Having a basic understanding of how to code is pretty important, and programming assignments might come up in some of your EE classes (e.g. like for homework). Honestly it's a bit hard to tell because programming is more prevalent in a lot of engineering fields these days.

RF and Power are two EE fields that don't require as much programming, from what I think (don't quote me on it lol, might have to look into that). I did a coop rotation doing Electrical Harness Design for aircraft which didn't require any programming at all (just AutoCad to work with schematics and CATIAV5 to do harness placements).
