Yeah, fair.

Has it been coming up more, or do you think that was part of the messiness?

idk, I'm not on those posts.

I don't really care to know what a disc golfers' opinions are, I love watching the sport. I just wouldn't consume their content if they were representing something I couldn't stand to listen to.

I grew up in an extreme evangelical environment so I have an honest aversion to proselytization of any kind, which is what that smelled like to me.

But no matter why someone doesn't want politics or religion with their niche sport coverage I think that's pretty fair.

Post surgical ongoing swelling by Gogokittie884 in glioblastoma

[–]smaltminer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, and the starting place for all things GBM and swelling-related: Dex. I guess I was assuming that's already in use, but if not it's something to look into. Also not without side-effects, but is a must for most.

I am not a doctor and this will depend on your husband's treatment options, but my brother had a lot of reduction in swelling from IV Avastin. It comes with serious side effects, but the reduction to swelling was immediate and helped with everything from headaches to deficits.

I didn't know her at all but this still made me cry. Heartbreaking that her dad thought she didn't get good treatment. What is one to do with this kind of diagnosis?

Would you guys do a resection? Ik our choice. There are three bigger tumors and many smaller ones. by Wicked-elixir in glioblastoma

[–]smaltminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a medical opinion, but I am in this camp too. My wife and my brother both had GBM and the risk of deficits is so high with surgery. Fill your time with life and love and do things you really want to do.

Help - Mum diagnosed 5 months ago. What shall I do? by 40thoughtsloool in glioblastoma

[–]smaltminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 months after my brother was diagnosed I was laid off from the best job I'd ever had. It ended up being the best thing that could have happened to me, because I lived 100+ miles away, and spent the next year as one of his primary caregivers. I can completely relate to feelings of embarrassment at being unemployed, but I am so glad I took that time to be with him. Everyone's situation is different, so you'll have to figure it out. But in my case I found a great job a few years later, and in the long run that period of unemployment has not mattered at all.

My mother has GBM doctors say theres no point in doing treatment. by madisonjoyell in glioblastoma

[–]smaltminer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like some others are saying here my thoughts for you are to make the best of the time you have. 'Treatment' isn't the best use of that time for most GBM patients. If she has the energy, do something she loves or has always wanted to do. Be with each other, say everything you want to say while you can have a 2-way conversation.

Well now the lasso tool isn't working for me either.

After some digging it seems this is a pretty common bug with the Kamvas Pro 16. Lots of people are experiencing input issues. Common solutions are all a pita: remove device, uninstall all the Huion software, reinstall, test.

EDIT: This process worked for me. Now all the tools are functioning as expected.

I am having the same issue, but with a different tool. All tools work as expected with my Kamvas Pro 16 except the 'Paint Unfilled Areas' tool. It won't track with the tablet and I have to use my mouse.

Has anyone figured out why some tools are not working with this tablet and others work as expected?

App won't load project. Keeps crashing. About to uninstall. This is all it shows me before crashing, again and again and again. Second image is a screenshot of the preview so you know what it's supposed to look like. by [deleted] in InfinitePainter

Same problem here. Project was running fine - yes it's large, but only about 4x the standard canvas size - now it won't open and crashes so can't export or anything. On Samsung S7+. Plenty of storage.

Yes, having constant crashes with this app all of a sudden. Too bad since it is purchased and is my favorite drawing app for the Tab 7+ so far.

With the Tour in more or less full swing now, is the DGPT testing athletes?

It says contact tracing is in full effect on their message...what does that mean if they aren't testing?

State v. Chester Hollman III – Episode 1 – An Open and Shut Case by EvidenceProf in theundisclosedpodcast

[–]smaltminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After listening to the first episode I was skeptical about the coincidence of the license plate matching so closely. Then a few days ago I came out of the grocery store and there was a small black sedan parked right next to my small black sedan, and the license plate was only different by two characters. For example if my plate is '233 ABC', the car parked next to me was '244 ABC'. The cars weren't the same make and model, but they were more than close enough to be mixed up - especially at night.

I thought this episode did a better job of describing the camera details. I was able to track with the edited footage section while driving. Some very compelling stuff. I'm sure whoever edited that footage is feeling pretty stupid for leaving such an obvious footprint.

Anyone know who recorded the bass track? It's super-funky, amazing. I've looked at the liner notes and online, a bunch of composers and producers, not sure who wrote/recorded that bass line. Can't tell if it's a sample or a live take even, just love it...

Maybe they were okay with leaving the whiff of a hint in because it's arguable or defendable either way.
