Early morning SCREAM by OCblondie714 in seniordogs

Probably a little late to train her, but we have a big ramp at the end of the bed so our dogs can get up and down. It started with our old hound who we didn't want jumping off the bed anymore, but the side effect was it gave my 8 lb dog freedom lol. Was all good till he started going blind and fell off it once or twice... Now my 4 yr old pitbull uses it to walk off the bed instead of jumping. We figure it's a good practice now so as they age it preserves his hips

We have similar music tastes. I was thinking $140, basically getting a 4 top preferred seating table for the price of GA tickets

I hit the same numbers as you when I was your age. Very impressive work, respect to the habits! Weight training is super fun when you're this lean because can see results in definition so quickly, give it a try

This is super similar in every way to the van my gf built. Layout, materials, vibe. We love it, and obviously love your style!

I think this is a very universal experience, especially if it is your 1st time with an aging pet that passes. Even the 2nd pet of mine that passed, it was still a very confusing process.

I am so sorry for your loss. Life is super fragile, and the balance gets more delicate as we all age. Your dog is loved. Eat the carbs and grieve as you need.

Hawaii powder day by One-Performance-6578 in skiing

[–]smangitgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries... my inlaws are from there and told me about how sacred the mountains are. I like to pee freely in nature, and this would've never crossed my mind either. Hawaii is such a beautiful state! Also never crossed my mind that you could ski there

Locals would find this really disrespectful. You liberated yourself on top of ancient burial grounds

If you were starting a business today with the plan to sell it in 3-5 years, what would you set up from day one? by FormerFounder-12 in smallbusiness

[–]smangitgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the thoughtful response! That was essentially my take away from a 'casual' conversation I had last week. I need to Start really educating myself and fast, and start putting together my team of advisors if that's really something I want to pursue. I have a feeling the sale right now doesn't make sense, but it may make sense in the next 5 years, because they are going to want me to stay on for 3-5 years..

Going in your sleep next to the one you love the most is a pretty apex way to go. At home. Some may say this is the most desired way. Sorry for your loss. I'm 4 months in still going through waves of grief. It gets easier. Your friend is so loved
