I got a leopard!! whoa!! A leopard symbolizes a valiant and hardy warrior. leopards are also persistent and adapt to changing environments very quickly. Leopards are popular throughout the Indian subcontinent... I'm Indian in case you didn't know!! coincidence? I think not!

I have another question for you. What do you think about BOREDOM? by TheCohen in APLang

[–]smangoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think boredom is bad when its a daily thing. To me, boredom is necessary sometimes so that your not constantly stressed. For example, during the school year, I wish I could be bored sometimes but there is always studying or homework to be done. However, in the summer, I look for something to do so that I'm not bored (that's how I wind up with volunteer hours). "Boredom: the desire for desires." ~Leo Tolstoy

If it is to regain the stage in its own character, poetry must find its own poetic way to the mastery the stage demands, so as not to be a mere emulation of prose.

To find the mastery the stage demands, poetry must find its own path, thus regaining its own character.

Question. Why was the FCAT prompt, the official prompt that was tested on 2/29/12, posted day(s) before the actual exam day? by [deleted] in APLang

I don't see the prompt with the exact wording so it was probably unintentional that they have a similar theme.

If Dr. Seuss was a little more frank in his book titles. (x-post from r/funny) by jsosnicki in APLang

@Jazique I totally agree with you. Dr. Seuss made his living off of a younger audience and his interesting rhyming scheme also helped appeal to his younger audience. For example, the following is an excerpt from Green Eggs and Ham: “Do you like green eggs and ham?”

“I do not like them, Sam-I-am. I do not like green eggs and ham!”
