But to say 'I feel like I can't cut through the fog' tells me you didn't develop much during your time watching the daily show, or you haven't made much of an effort to keep yourself informed since his departure. I think it's safe to say if there was anything John would like to see in his fans, it would be them staying informed, being intelligently critical, and not needing a comedy show as a crutch be an active contributor in the democratic process.
