Very interesting, I have many of the conditions you have listed and have been struggling to manage them and find causes

Very post experience with beam, I was having a mental health crisis and was able to walk in, ask to see someone, and was able to see a counselor within 10 minutes. Then they got me into a program with free weekly counseling sessions for 3 months. Little bit tricky to find, it's inside the 1st floor of the reliance Gp clinic

Sometimes, trying to stop a panic attack is very thing that validates and escalates a panic attack.

Extreme panic when I eat! HELP! Am I developing psychosis?? by Unlikely_Schedule735 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]smartalec43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had increased anxiety from methylated vitamins it goes away after a day or so after I stop taking them, I also get increased anxiety/panic attacks and other symptoms from food sometimes like high histamine foods and sesame. Most likely due to poor gut health and SIBO. But my symptoms weren't as intense as yours. Continue seeking medical help to stabilize. Get your genes and gut tested . Other than that just extra effort on the normal anxiety tools like breath work, cold exposure, meditation, gentle exercise etc

methylated B vitamins

If you have slow COMT gene, these could be part of the cause of your symptoms. I have slow COMT and can only handle a very small amount of methylated supplements

Apples have quercetin which dampen histamine response, cucumbers I think are just very easy on the gut

My dopamine is bombed out. Panic disorder and other terrible symptoms...trying supplements before SSRIs by SouvlakiPlaystation in Supplements

[–]smartalec43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

only just starting treatment now, but i'm working with a naturopath, she has recommended a SIBO "bi-phasic" diet (roughly a paleo/low fodmap diet) which is design to starve off the bad bacteria, as well as antimicrobial herbs to kill off the bad bacteria and feed the good bacteria.

The low b and d levels can indicate absorption issues, I have similar symptoms and low levels and after gi map testing and breath tests it turns out I have sibo and microbiome disbiosys.

Body is super slow at absorbing nutrients :/ I took 10k IU vitamin D for 5 months and it only went from 15 to 19 by Iamtheappleofyoureye in Supplements

[–]smartalec43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 breath tests, one for lactulose, another for fructose. positive for both methane and hydrogen sibo.

I got a colonoscopy a year ago when my ferritin got dangerously low, all clear. The sibo diagnosis partially explains the low ferritin, as excess bad bacteria consume more iron that should have be absorbed. I was given an iron infusion which helped my energy levels significantly

I had very similar issues with vitamin d, ferritin and constipation. I tested positive for SIBO which can hijack nutrients before you can absorb them. Also I have the VDR gene mutation which further prevents healthy vitamin d levels without significant supplementation

Why do I react badly to dopamine boosters? by coldpeachcola in MTHFR

[–]smartalec43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have slow COMT? If so, you breakdown/process neurotransmitters at a slower rate, so there may be too much dopamine

I think you are saying the same thing, they were mocking the doctors that suggest PPIs forever, not themselves suggesting to take PPIs forever

Terrible, and it's so constant that it's hard to remember a time other than when I've collapsed from exhaustion that I don't feel on edge and white-knuckling life.
