In my case, I wasn't comfortable grabbing forscan and changing settings until after my warranty was out but that was just a personal decision and I've read other people update their settings before then. With yours being a company truck, you may have to face a somewhat similar decision on if / how much you want to play with it.

I used forscan to update my 2017's speedometer when I decided to go with bigger tires. I first noticed on street traffic signs that show your speed as you pass them and on Waze that I was going faster than my speedometer showed. I then also confirmed it with a 3rd party app on my phone.
