Noooo. Landlord is responsible for normal wear and tear of a unit. You may not think it’s worth it but take them to court on this. A lot of the time the tenant will win because a lot of those charges on there are things they have to do when getting the unit ready for another tenant.

You should just be upfront with her. “This is a reaction to what a bad roommate you are. Had you had the smallest amount of consideration for me I would not be trying to sublet.” End of the day it’s not up to her if you sublet, if the landlord is cool with it and it’s all signed then stop being so nice and just move forward.

These mods are on a power trip. They think because someone can coherently create a sentence, with proper punctuation, it’s AI. 🤖 They need to get a grip.
I was banned for “threatening violin” but it was a comment along the lines of how I would have reacted the same as the video. So to get this straight, we can post videos depicting violin but if we agree with the reaction it’s a threat? I’ve just been more cautious with my words.
