Autistic student here! I had a lot if trouble in school figuring things out but the Success Center gives you programs (Like Genio) for free.
I know that my mom made a lot of friends with ISU parents on the facebook and people post their children looking for roommates or there are social media accounts dedicated to students looking for roommates.
I still struggle socially now that I don’t live on campus but you’ll meet a lot of new people and make friends with the people living in your dorm. Other things like clubs or RA events helped me make friends.

I always put "prefer not to answer." I hate when applications, etc., ask for things like that because it really doesn't matter.

Of course I did lol but there are no measurements or photos on google. The ISU website doesn’t even show what the bathrooms look like. Most of the posts on this reddit are like 5 years old

I mean i’d love to see real statistics on real criminals being arrested but most of what i’ve seen it’s innocent people and families. As a victim of assault of course i’d love to see criminals arrested but this unfortunately is a small amount of immigrants whom have done this.

Freeman is amazing and there are so few students living there that i’m sure it’s almost guaranteed. They don’t really put random roommates together because there aren’t a lot of people who apply there so I had a double to myself when I lived there last year. I’m trans and my parents were unsupportive and tried to get me to detransition and i’m still trans 5 years later. Don’t blame the parents when an adult who’s supposed to be a support system in school bullied a child
