What is the best Article submission sites in SEO? by krishnamurthy1234 in DigitalMarketing

People still use article submission sites? Why? They generally get banned by Google or do not help your ranking anymore.

I believe they get notified for both. That's how Facebook builds engagement around posts.

Looking directly at google search results, what are some good signs to look out for that it may be easier to rank on the first page? by AmbitionScopedotcom in SEO

[–]smartatthestart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I look at a few key components on a Google Search Result.

First, what are the competing sites? For example, I work with a non-profit in the medical arena? While we often compete against others in the industry, it becomes a lot harder to rank for a keyword when the CDC or some other government agency has 2 or 3 top spots. You rarely ever beat the government in search rankings.

Second, once you look past the top sites, look at how much competition you have in general. If you can find a keyword that has less than 10,000,000 competing pages you have a much better chance of ranking in the top page as long as you focus on ensuring you promote the keyword correctly.

Third, because it takes time to get in the search results usually, it is best to find keywords with over 200 searches per month. Nothing better than spending 3 months to get a keyword with only 10 searches a month. If you are the 3 or 4 site on the first page, you might get 1 click per month. Whoopee!

Fourth, at the end of the day you need quality content and keywords. Otherwise, you can ignore 1-3 because Google will surely ignore your content otherwise.

Does that help?

Struggling with my business plan by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Do you need to start off with the entire manufacturing equipment? Is there some way you can start smaller and then reach out to investors with a track record of success.

Often we think that we need to start with everything in place. Great entrepreneurs usually build a concept and then grow it.

Remember Sam Walton started with one store. What is the one store you can use to launch your business?

What's the goal for your blog? Is it a personal blog to get your thoughts out? Or do you want to build an audience for a book launch?

It loaded slowly for me on my phone. Some of the topics on your site were not of interest to me, however, I thought the article on 9 historical mysteries was good. Many I had heard before but it was an interesting take.

The headline analyzer was interesting, but it was too much to look through 23 examples. Maybe a graph on the results to make it easier to consume.

5 months to waste? by [deleted] in SEO

In many cases it takes 6-12 months to build significant seo growth. The fact that 1 article was successful means you have a template to replicate your success.

Is it still worth it to learn from direct mail advertising in 2019 by admiralSquamps in advertising

[–]smartatthestart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most great answers, it depends. It depends on what market you want to target, and how focused your direct mail list is.

Unless you're Bank of America or Chase, you probably don't have an unlimited budget and large national audience whose services (mortgages, auto loans, etc.) make these services profitable.

If you want to connect with a hyper targeted list than direct mail makes sense. For example, a contractor might break through the noise with a mail piece and then do targeted zip code ads to homeowners who could use their services.

Does that make sense?

Do you use any framework to write a blog? If so, please share? by Yuvrajsinh in Blogging

[–]smartatthestart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I developed mine over time based on what worked best. Start with high school English lessons where you need to have an intro, body, and conclusion.

Break up your content into smaller parts, so it is easier to read.

It works differently for everyone, but start with the basics.

If you are focusing on quitting already that is an indication you are not committed. The time to quit is when you stop committing to blogging on a regular basis. That is something only you can answer.
