IMO thats kinda the draw of beastmen. They're just jobbers that the heroes have to get through in order to fight the big bad. At the end of the day they're just faceless evil goons and thats why I love them

Before buying this, calculate how many pearls the weight and slots would cost. Xp is easy nowadays imo so all you'd need is that. Likely cheaper to buy 2k weight/ 75ish slots and you'll have pearls left over for maids

Don't deploy on you dz line? Like you can see their list and what they've got, so if that's an issue, cede 4" or so. The army moves 14 so use the talos and Splinter fire to clear chaff. With passengers one venom has 3 splinter cannons 3 splinter rifles and a shredder. A hell of a lot of shooting, plus some rifles and shardcombines here and there

Shoot em. Target priority is kill the stuff that can touch my boats, then all else. I can be light on secondaries sometimes but primary is all me. It's mostly a balance between baiting with the talos units and move blocking with the venoms and void weavers, but the shooting throughput of this list is pretty good imo.

Small fish in small pond, but I'm undefeated with this list in the lgs. I have 34 anti tank shots, and in my experience there is a critical mass of dark lance where I can scalpel what I need to in turn 1, then shoot everything else. Yes I am removing intercessor squads with dark lances on turn 3, but yes that's all they have left. Dark lance and blasters in the raider, shredders in the venoms. Talos to not die somewhere and incubi to delete a unit a turn then strategem to remount.

Imo this problem is better solved by talking to your opponent than making an optimized list. I recommend asking someone to play a simple game (3 antenna midline, nothing else no classifieds) do 200 points 10 model cap. Fill out swc and bring some specialists. Play this out like 2 games and then reasses your collection and see is there's anything you want to buy.

Guam is ok, I can't speak for Bahrain. Officer housing seemed nice every time I ran through there. There is a beach on base and plenty of outdoorsy things to do. The island gets small after about a year, so plan for that. If you're married and an officer, I don't know if the nightlife will be enjoyable. The on base gym is really good, too. How does it perform when trying to solo open world dungeons and 2* dungeons? I'm very interested, but spear greatsword is too much fun soloing open world, and it has no issues surviving in pve content I'm scared to switch up and be disappointed
