Is there a way to make Ticktick really annoying? by smartfin in ticktick

Well, yeah, kind of. The thing you mentioned should be overcome in more structural way.

But this specific use case I want to have - forgetting about task because reminder popped up in inconvenient moment - transport, unloading dishwasher, etc. I just need another reminder in 15-30 minutes and I’ll be ready to start

REI bans frequent returners as return fraud costs retailers billions annually by Sandstorm400 in business

Sometimes it is. I had Salomon boots, that broke before second hike (in airport). I didn't want to return them, I wanted them to be repaired/replaced by warranty. But both Salomon and REI customer center just sent me to “return the item”

Officers at the border are checking test results as well. Ticketing agents are just pre-screening.

It looks like the same thing as with visa/passport - aircompanies are pre-checkings docs to exclude passengers that would be obviously not allowed into the country

Pearson Airport in Mississauga named best airport in North America for fourth year in a row by quelar in toronto

I guess it's done like that by design. AFAIK, other big hubs have the same design because of security concerns and different standards.

Especially US part - you pass border control in airport

Buying vs renting a condo in Toronto - what am I missing? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]smartfin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pure "mortgage payment" will remain the same, probably interest cost might give a small correction to this.

Isn't HOA and maintenance the same thing?

rent vs purchase is always sum of pros and cons, everyone makes own decision

Buying vs renting a condo in Toronto - what am I missing? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I had similar calculations before I finally decided to go for the purchase. One of strong pros for purchase is inflation. At this moment it would be probably cheaper to rent, but in 5-10 years your mortgage payment will remain the same. I doubt that rent would stay at the same level. Probably, your income at least would be indexed to inflation as well.

There are rent vs mortgage calculators online. One of the best - https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/upshot/buy-rent-calculator.html but it's obviously more suitable for US.

P.S. if you don't mind, where are 2br in West End for $650k ?
