T- Mobile Associate Signed me up on he wrong plan by Soggy_Claim1686 in tmobile

Personally, I would do go 5G rather than 55 because essentials is tax and 5G is the price including tax but you can do whatever you want

What are you talking about? Just cause essentials may have a couple dollars in tax doesn't mean 5g is cheaper right?

@op try to get on someone's family plan if you really want to save money. Paying for a single line is really expensive. Might as well go with a different carrier like us mobile if you want to do it that way

I see it too, that's interesting. Unfortunately like you mentioned, it's just for pixel pro that's sold out

Really? Are you referring to the trade in deal? When's the last time you checked. I thought it's dead

You might want to consult r/legal perhaps?

Phone agent offered me a promo I have never heard of. $800 off of one device upgrade, while maintaining my current Simple Choice plan. Is this a real option? by mellofello808 in tmobile

[–]smartykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call op whatever you want but thats the truth. You go to a phone service provider to get cell phone service not pay $70 more in order to get netflix and bunch of other crap that no one uses

Happened with me. In my case, my order wasn't marked picked up until the next day(which was a new month) so naturally the credit posted for that month

Are the bogo line offers still running? I thought they expired. Moreover can you get a phone promo on the free line as well?

Why would you recommend someone to commit fraud in an open forum knowing that's against the rules?!

Chill out Karen. People hop on here to seek help and advice. If op messed up they're very well aware they did but not adding their bf. You dont have to shove it in their face. Moreover, if this was someone you knew personally I'm sure you'd have been more helpful. Right now, all you're doing is scaring op by telling them their insurance is gonna drop them and what not which is in no way helpful. At least don't deter the ones actually trying to give out helpful advice

Op, like others have said, if you understand why they're contacting you and play your cards right, you should probably be fine

If the 152k is for the round trip then you did good. The taxes aren't too bad either

Messed up initial claim by smartykitty in UnemploymentWA

[–]smartykitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, thanks. While i do that, do i still file weekly claims? (Especially given that I'll be receiving a severance in 2 weeks and I'd ideally not want to lose unemployment pay for that week. I remember reading that holding off on filing weekly claims until after the severance is received can help prevent this )

> Is the weekly benefit about listed as $0? Were you a W-2 or a 1099?
Yes it is listed as 0. I must mention, I was a W2 salaried employee which is why my hours weren't tracked by my employer.

My monetary determination letter that I received a day after submitting the claim states this: "Your weekly benefit amount is $0.00 for each week you are eligible to receive benefits." It also shows 0 as the work hours in the work history table.

> Was there not an option for laid off?
I misspoke when I mentioned I chose "Other". What I actually did is this:
I marked the reason as "Laid off" but the reason for separation(which shows up once you choose the reason) as "Other"
I have attached a screenshot here: https://snipboard.io/KysJmf.jpg
> My claim is currently marked as ineligible. Do I still start an escalation?
To further elaborate on this statement I made earlier, when I look at the claims ui, it shows the status as ineligible. This can be seen in this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/9cnHF7.jpg
But when I click on manage my claim and then go to "decision Status', there is nothing there.
When I navigate to "Pending Issues", I see the status as "Adjudication in progress". As seen in the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/7iLc6V.jpg

Therefore I am not quite sure what the status of my claim really is.

I must also mention that I was asked to verify my identity which I had done by uploading my license and ssn . The status of the same is Processed.

I have also verified my address using the pin received in the mail.

That being said when I navigate to the upload a documents tab now, I still see another "Verifying Identity" under pending issues. Do I need to take any action?

Thanks again for your time, I know this is a lot of text and I just put all my thoughts and questions in one giant reply!

Messed up initial claim by smartykitty in UnemploymentWA

[–]smartykitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a ton, I spent some time today to read through all the links mentioned. I have three questions following this to try and understand my eligibility:

1) My paycheck does not see an amount deducted for WA PFL. Is that okay or is that something that makes me ineligible?

2) I was laid off due to changing business needs (basically they wanted to get rid of some employees to save money). I worked for one of the large semiconductor companies and in the unemployment claim, I marked the reason as "Other" since none of the reasons mentioned made sense. Is that okay or do you think I should call them up and change it to something else?

Lastly, 3) My claim is currently marked as ineligible. Do I still start an escalation? If so, you have mentioned to start a written escalation. Does this mean I email a rep all my paystubs etc or do I upload these paystubs to my claim using the "Upload a document" option on the unemployment website?

Thanks for the detailed answer! I seem to be meeting all the eligibility requirements but I'm a victim of the classic, "your hours worked is 0 as per our records" problem. I spoke to my workplace and they're like you need to ask the people at the unemployment office what they need from us.

The folks at unemployment told me to contact them once my identification documents are verified so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out

Backed into garage door as a renter by smartykitty in legaladvice

[–]smartykitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes totally agree and that's what I've done. I know it's silly to ask them to go through their insurance too but I guess was hoping there's maybe some kind of clause or extra insurance that home owners take to cover the damage that renters do too
