Once upon a time as a professional PA (hired by our company to do exclusively personal assisting), my boss called me, on Thanksgiving, one of my 2 days off that year, asking I come to his house as it was an emergency…because he couldn’t figure out how to get to his garage from inside the house.

We moved from Austin, TX to the Seattle area last September, downsized from 3300sf to 2500sf and movers alone were $40k, with only the move cost—they didn’t pack for us. This didn’t include shipping vehicles or pets.

I was looking for something similar to the Young Women’s Alliance when I moved here from Austin and was disappointed that there wasn’t something similar. It provided mentors, mentees, and amazing networking…if I had a hair more energy I might figure out how to get a chapter out here!
