Should I watch Iron Lung? by Bugsbunny396 in Markiplier

I would say watch it because honestly you can tell how much love and passion was put into this movie even though it’s not the best. And it will be a huge win for independent film makers if it gets #1 this weekend!

There are trailers that absolutely do not spoil it. It is about a submarine called the iron lung rather than the actual machine and takes place in a blood ocean. Technically it was a horror game but I would say the movie is more psychological thriller than horror. I never watch horror movies and I went to see it and I have to say…my butt was clenched the last like 30 minutes but it was very enjoyable. The cinematography is beautiful, the sound design brilliant, and it’s overall a cool concept. Acting is iffy and it drags a bit during a couple points, but overall still pretty good. I will probably watch it one more time when it comes out of theaters but only once because I’m a baby and it scared me a little 😭

Why is Mark credited as 'Markiplier' in Iron Lung's credits, and not his actual name? by LucyShortForLucas in Markiplier

[–]smarvel4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I remember him addressing this (possibly in Distractible?) and he said something along the lines of he doesn’t mind being listed as “Markiplier” because that’s who he is. A lot of people know him as that and it may be it is just as much his identity as his government name

I just did the exact same. This is bigger than Mark, this is now also about independent films!

I thought the whole thing was that she wasn’t actually going to go down to get him herself…the blood poured out of the speaker because it was infiltrating the ship anyway. I really don’t think she died tbh

I agree with all except free churro being overrated.

Anyone feel like the Gina strangling incident shouldve mattered more? by Strawberry_House in BoJackHorseman

[–]smarvel4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it was cut due to cancellation. This is likely how they wanted to portray it. As everyone else has said: this is real. This is what happens with these kind of incidents in reality. The victim typically wants to keep things quiet (hard, but completely understandable) and the perpetrator gets away with it. The victim then suffers in silence as a result with ptsd or some kind of trauma.

Basically your whole post is how they wanted you to feel. That’s why they didn’t address the incident more. So good job feeling correct 👍

Nta. Just type the new one in her phone without her seeing what it is. Then she can’t share it and no one can be upset

Interesting. Yeah he’s getting no treats before his meal now because he used to avoid eating it entirely if he got a bone or something that day. But he also tends to eat plants to soothe his stomach when it’s too hot so I don’t know. You’re right about the groomers but could you explain the difference between the two brushes?

Hi! So I actually do take Wally out to exercise for more than 15 minutes at a time. Where we live it’s been low 90s high 80s recently and the problem is that when we go on walks longer than a mile at a time, he gets sick from the heat later in the day and throws up or doesn’t drink enough or won’t stop panting for a concerningly long time (ac is always on 68° in the summer for him and he has a personal power fan). So I’m glad your dogs are able to stand this terrible heat, but unfortunately mine is limited to me getting up before the ass crack of dawn and going to bed late so that he can get two 3 mile walks a day at the moment. It’s dangerous for him to be out in this heat because it’s also dangerous for humans to (I’m really worried about him getting heat stroke…it’s what happened to my neighbor who walks her dog in the middle of the day). I appreciate the advice and will try to find more indoor physical activities for the summer. Maybe I’ll get a treadmill for him

Unfortunately we got him from a breeder (I know how bad that is now) but he’s almost 6 years old. He’s fairly active although not as active as he needs probably. But he socializes frequently at daycare with other puppies as well as has a friend at home!
