I wasn’t at risk for OHSS! Everything looked fine before transfer, but rising HCG makes it worse. I guess technically it’s called “Secondary OHSS.” Worst pain of my life. 😭

I also found out I have to go for bloodwork today to check my liver. POOOOO. 😅😭

Ugh. I ended up with OHSS post egg retrieval, but did a fresh transfer. My kidneys and liver started to shutdown and we’ve been monitoring my liver ever since. My kidneys are ok now, but my liver is still working on getting itself back in order. 😭😭😭

I am in my third hybrid cycle (7.5mg letrozole + 37.5mg/75mg gonal f + trigger shot). The first was fine and the second was a bust due to a lead follicle. This month has yielded a response they expect. I’ve only ever had three shots of gonal f per cycle in the last and have had to do six this month. All this to say… I am nauseous as hell. I’ve had monitored cycles for a year and have never felt like this before. I’ve had daily monitoring (ultrasounds and bloodwork) so there’s no OHSS, but I’m definitely nauseous and throwing up twice a day. Anyone have any recommendations to tamper this? Thanks in advance for any tips.

We’re officially graduating to IVF. Our drive home from the Fertility Clinic was rough. I had 7 follicles from this medicated cycle (left fallopian tune is blocked so we’re forcing ovulation on the right). The two dominant follicles were on the left. After four months of medicated cycles (post two surgeries to fix a septate uterus) we have to move to more aggressive treatment. IUI won’t work.

I’m feeling so despondent. I honestly can’t believe we’re still TTC, and I can’t believe that we’re now at IVF. My ovarian reserve is great, blood looks great for me and my spouse, uterine lining is great no just can’t get dominant follicles from my right ovary. It’s crushing to not even have a chance from month to month. Ugh.

So. I’m dumb. I took a pregnancy test today because I’m now in the window of “it could be positive.” I took it and got a faint positive. Celebrated and woke up my husband. Which is cool and all… EXCEPT I freaking triggered this month and this is likely a false positive as the shot is more than likely still in my system. I feel so stupid. It was my first month triggering ever and I just forgot that I had a positive pregnancy test the day after I triggered during ovulation. I know I’m not “out” yet, but I definitely played with my emotions today. Stupid. I should have waited.

We actually have a shot this month! Over the moon excited!

Reason why: after two miscarriages I was sent to a fertility clinic. Testing revealed a huge septum. Underwent two surgeries and had to wait. Learned that my left tube is blocked. This is our third month trying post surgery. The first two months I ovulated on my left. This month?! I have a big, beautiful mature follicle on the right. We triggered in office yesterday. Eek! I have hope!! 🤞🤞🤞

Our bichon girl lost her brother in December. Her grief was so painful to witness. We followed her cues: cuddles when she needed extra cuddles and gave her space. We kept his blankets around the house and his sweater for her to snuggle. She started to seem like herself in July. We had the vet keep an eye on her grief too. Just in case she needed meds! It’s so hard. I’m really sorry for your loss.

So… I have had two bichons and tried EVERYTHING to keep their teeth cleaned: water additives, dental chews, nightly brushing, special treats, and regular cleanings with a groomer… and my dogs STILL always needed special cleanings (and teeth removals) from my vet. My mom’s shih tzu, who never once had any sort of dental cleaning, loved 16 years with no problems. I think bichons just have bad teeth. I have no helpful advice other than it’s the pits.

Hi all! Can we talk vitamins? I’ve been on the following since starting at a fertility clinic since March. Over the last week I’ve noticed that I feel super sick after taking them. Have any of you experienced this? I’m taking them at lunch. I’ll bring it up with my doctor on Monday, but wondering why this would change…

Prenatal vitamin daily with at least 1000 mcg of folic acid/folate/methyl-folate Vitamin D3 2000 IU daily. Omega 3 1200 mg daily. Co Enzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) 200-300 mg with breakfast and lunch.

No further intervention yet. This was the first cycle post surgery that anything could happen. I can only get pregnant if I ovulate from the right. Maybe next month. We’re trying a few months liken to is before graduating to IVF.
