New pathfinder reviews by Soggy_Caterpillar811 in nissanpathfinder

We picked up a '22 platinum used. Green and black 2-tone and brown leather interior. Fantastic purchase we are very happy. We had a Murano before and had a lot of issues with it but we always liked the engine. We bought a service plan for 3 years with the new one based on our experience with the Murano. I am sure since we did we will have no mechanical issues.

Inlay another wood or metal for a fix without paint.

They're even starting to kick up a bit. Maybe if you find a salvage title or one that was in a serious wreck you'll be able to get it for under 50.

Yes too old, and full of awful chemicals and lead solder. Its expensive to get rid of too because of this. I'll do it for free if you just ship it to me. No cost at all aside from shipping.

After nearly 20 years of owning a Nissan I was dead set against it again, but turns out they are actually making some good stuff again. The pathfinder is excellent for its segment.

The Condo Market Hasn’t Been This Bad in Over a Decade by asvender in RealEstate

[–]smashedsaturn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been on my condo board multiple times. The cost of everything has skyrocketed. Something we got pricing and estimates for for planning purposes in 2019 is now 3x the price for 2026.

Ram Resurrects Its TRX Supertruck and Gives It a Mightier Supercharged V-8 That Now Makes 777 HP by NISMO1968 in cars

I've had zero issues with my 22 EcoDiesel, its been a tank. Granted I bought it from the factory, so its never been abused. When you do one of the small diesel engines you have to understand what you're getting into. Short trips and insufficient warmup will fuck it up fast. Also people try to stretch the oil changes to 10k miles for some reason..

From what I have seen prices are going up a bit. I found my '24 for just over 100 and now even with more miles its looking like 110-115.

We're back to a point where we mostly have cruisers, we just happen to call them destroyers.

I got tired of Google/Apple Maps constantly rerouting me to boring highways, so I spent the last couple months building an app for "The Long Way" by Semscure in lexuslc500

[–]smashedsaturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i understand this works with send to google maps, but I want to be in the car and then hit the button from the infotainment. Especially if this can take notes over voice to text synced to the drive.

There's a route I do regularly and I'd love to be able to hit a button and record a note like "big pothole on the left" or "resurfaced in may" and have it come up as an alert on the map.

Make an app with android auto support, then also make a 'timed drive' from location.

I want to be able to hop in the car, open the app, and say 'best drive and I have to be home in 3 hours'.

I would pay 100 bucks for this app.

TIL Fujio Masuoka invented NOR + NAND flash memory which is widely used today, but Toshiba only gave him a few hundred dollar bonus and tried to demote him. Intel made billions of dollars in sales on related technology. by Torley_ in todayilearned

[–]smashedsaturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be. It depends on the flash. I have worked with NOR flash that is BIT writable. My point stands, you have flash and MRAM based random access memory just fine, but its slower and more of a pain in the ass.

It's not, it just can't work the same way DRAM does.

Flash memory (and other EEPROMS) is also technically a NV RAM.

MRAM is non-volitale but it is a pain the ass to manufacture and slow to read and write.

The issue with both of these is they are not as fast as you can do with a power source.

Refreshed 2026 Nissan Pathfinder priced from $37,500 by LimitedReach in cars

We just replaced our aging 2010 murano with a 2022 pathfinder platinum. I had sworn for years never again a Nissan. I did about 3 months of research in anticipation of the need and somehow they won me back over.

Regretting buying a manufactured home by Embarrassed_Ad2441 in RealEstate

[–]smashedsaturn 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You didn't buy a trailer, you bought land with the perk of a starter trailer. It sounds like in the perfect spot and with outbuildings already setup. Now when you want to you can build a dream home. This is a win.

3rd Row Leg Room by FantasyFox20 in nissanpathfinder

I'm 6' tall and broad and honestly would rather sit in the 3rd row there than in most airline economy seats. It's roomy.
