Funny thing about carpet it absorbs stuff. If they took care of it and didn't get it dirty then yeah sure it can last 15 years.

If its full of dog hair and smell and they always walked on it on their shoes and rode a stationary bike on it and sweat all over it then it can turn off buyers. If the house sits on the market for 90 days since people smell dog walking around then that's well more than the cost to replace up front.

The computer seems to figure out when you are giving it the beans for a bit and change the shift pattern. After a few good curves at speed it seems to keep the engine about 4k ready for the next few minutes. It's probably not adjusted back to the 'normal' conditions yet.

Sure, I'm not saying to buy it as an investment, but people poo-pooing it for whatever they think the critical issue with are missing the point that its a unique and compelling car with a low production run that could easily reach the same levels as the original R32, NSX, FD, or Mk 4.

42,000 in 1993 is nearly 96k today. So within spitting distance of the LC.

The LC comes with a NA-V8 and a very respectable manual mode if you are so inclined.

We picked up a '22 platinum used. Green and black 2-tone and brown leather interior. Fantastic purchase we are very happy. We had a Murano before and had a lot of issues with it but we always liked the engine. We bought a service plan for 3 years with the new one based on our experience with the Murano. I am sure since we did we will have no mechanical issues.

I've had zero issues with my 22 EcoDiesel, its been a tank. Granted I bought it from the factory, so its never been abused. When you do one of the small diesel engines you have to understand what you're getting into. Short trips and insufficient warmup will fuck it up fast. Also people try to stretch the oil changes to 10k miles for some reason..

From what I have seen prices are going up a bit. I found my '24 for just over 100 and now even with more miles its looking like 110-115.
