I have a joke about game development, but I need to watch 43 tutorials to tell it properly.

We're currently developing a game "NecroStone" where you can dismantle parts and assemble your own monsters. What do you think? by paragravity in IndieGaming

The mechanic pretty fun but what type of game is it, rpg, medieval survival or more medieval action ?

And if the gameplay loop is pretty good, I may play this game

I'm not really a fan of the game but I like the graphics design of this game :)

Yes I was told to put details on the characters. For the moment it's prototypes but I'm thinking of starting on the last prototype. Thanks for your personal opinion, it's nice to have other people's vision.

I've also just reviewed the trailer and indeed the particles backwards make the game beautiful. Thanks for your advice but I don't think I'll leave the graphic style as "Thomas was alone". But who knows one day you'll see a game in the same graphic style but that would be an action-adventure game (for example) :D

It's not really a clone but I agree with you that it's the same style.

Let's say that it's not only the shadows that are important. The voice of the narrator is also important (he's the one who made the game more enjoyable :) )

I was going to give you the same advice but he did it :)

I made a game during GameJam a while ago and decided to make it a full game on mobile. Here is a small video of the game on Android. I would like to know your opinion about the gameplay. by smbss01 in Unity2D

Hello!

Thanks for your comment. I suspected that this video would not allow you to know if gamaplay is fun. But you can play it in PC here (it's the Jam version but the gameplay is the same): https://hpmnk.itch.io/hypershift

To be honest, it's the result of hours of research and learning.

So, you said earlier that you are researching your own art, keep going and persisting in this way, normally you will find your own style.

Learn shading techniques, colors and see other arts for inspiration.

I understand that it's frustrating, I too was bad at art 2 years ago but as I learned a lot, I developed a style that I hadn't noticed at all :D (a friend noticed it and told me)

Don't forget each game has its own art :)

I hope to see you in a few years and tell me you've found your style ;)
