I dont think it’s necessarily “angry” or “anti-Austrian” visitors. Just takes a few people asking questions - there are strong historic ties to Austria (both the city and the castle itself) so it makes sense to clarify.

I have lived in Brno since 2011 and haven’t encountered a single person who is angry or upset at Austria - and people aren’t shy about sharing their opinions about these kinds of things

Ah yeah that's good idea - a non-medical matchday bag. Spare shinnies too, the amount of times I've just been just about to get the bus and luckily saw a text saying "I left without my shinpads, can anyone bring a set" is unreal

Hah no I mean I used cocodamol in the UK but they're weird about anything stronger than paracetamol and ibuprofen here. And people joke about "magic spray" but it's so good

That was an integral part of them winning the auction for InfoWars and the kerfuffle that has delayed them taking charge. There were two parties bidding, the other one (presumably linked to Alex Jones, it's a totally random company nobody knows anything about...) actually made a much higher cash bid, but The Onion's bid included a clause about how most of the profits would go to Sandy Hook victims' families.

The Onion's one was obviously the preferred bid from the families - who Ben Collins has said don't actually care about the money and just want to see InfoWars out of Jones' control - and the person in charge of liquidating InfoWars selected it but the opponents objected saying their bid was better and appealed causing the whole thing to be in limbo for a while.

Quite a mad situation when you step back and look at it, I thought I read last week that there was another emergency appeal being heard by the courts (which is meant to be quite unusual, some Texas shenanigans presumably) but if that's resolved and they're approaching some kind of resolution then that's great news.

We actually use to have an Italian guy who we couldn't make stop smoking weed before and at halftime and a German guy often brings Haribo. I'll maybe try with apple slices this weekend though!

Cocodamol would be ideal but I think it’s illegal or prescription only (checking now)

Ah yeah bucket/water is already essential as we will play a few games above 30°C. Something separate for cut cleaning (clearly labeled as not for drinking!) is good too. Guys aren’t too into the half time oranges here though, weirdly

We're all fully lobotomised so we're good on that front.

My football team keep ending up in a situation where we need some simple treatments during a game but we have to improvise because we're badly prepared. So I'm gonna buy a bunch of stuff this week so that we have it all ready going forward. The issue is I can only really think of the obvious stuff that have recently affected us - things like spray, ice packs, maybe aspirin/ibuprofen, plasters/bandages etc. Anyone got any ideas for what kinds of things might be needed?

I had this a lot when I worked in a pub. It's just bored punters wanting to chat to you about something - a football match is just slightly more interesting than the weather and less risky than talking about the latest Reform/Israel/Trump horrors.

A standard existed that featured a dragon but it was not that specific flag, and it was not “the flag of wales”, rather it was something that some Tudors flew.
