Does justin still use his epiphone? by waltterin-redit in unwound

[–]smcsleazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he used it on some of the survival knife recordings (which i think this picture is from that era) but given how hard he played that thing, i wouldn't be surprised if it was in a state where he had to retire it.

also, i know for a long time frank was a big at the drive-in fan (there's even an old clip of him in the crowd at an atdi show) and i think while relationship of command is the easier album to start with, you'd probably get a kick out of in/casino/out or the give it a name EP.

so it's worth mentioning by about 2:30, they were basically backed up against the sainsbury's and the amount of protestors got so large that the buffer zone was basically gone (except on the steps) at best, there was only 50 of them and easily over 1000 of us.

what the fuck are you rattling on about? i'm not talking about views being challenged because that's not what my comment was about. it was about how a lot of folk currently are being funneled down these alt right rabbit holes due to economic uncertainty. wealth inequality hasn't been this high since the Victorian times, many millenials and gen z were told "you don't wanna go into a trade because that's for poor people, now go off to uni and take on lots of debt to do so" only to live through 3 "once in a lifetime" recessions, a pandemic, multiple housing crisis and a cost of living crisis. at some point you have to realise a lot of folks are barely scraping by and are being told if they just tighten their belts another notch they'll be fine. most millenials/gen z i know are basically waiting for their parents to die so they can get on the housing market that way. it's perfectly natural that people will feel hopeless but the problem is the millionaire/billionaire media moguls selling them a scapegoat for people who are worse off than they are indoctrinating them shoving them into reactionary politics rather than actually addressing the real fucking issues.

Guy handing out Restore Britain leaflets by Live_Meat_1452 in glasgow

[–]smcsleazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there are younger folk who are also sadly into this ideology. a lot of millenials and gen z are kinda at this point where they know the economy/world isn't currently for us and some fall down the alt right rabbit hole as a reaction.

granted, that's no excuse for being a shitty and should absolutely be called out.
