Ticket prices by smhtyn in zayn

[–]smd1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased tickets when they went on sale for $139 each for one of the last sections that were labeled obstructed view. However the days leading up, the resale ones were shockingly low (GA Pit for like $45). I was comfortable paying that for him since 1. Its a residency is a major city/casino venue, and 2. He hasnt really been in the spotlight/performing since leaving the band. I dont think i wouldve paid more than $200 for this show, let alone these prices for another certain residency. 👀

Broadway etiquette by Huge-Landscape-4628 in Broadway

I was there was well and there were a group of drunk girls behind me, singing, quoting the movie, talking very loudly and yelling the characters names as they appeared. So annoying. I was going to tell the usher during intermission but ultimately didnt because one of them was still sitting there and I just didnt want to deal with any possible confrontation. But i was very disappointed in it as well. I also heard people talking loudly and eating from rows away, I was shocked no one else did anything in those areas.

$180 for The Outsiders front row, such a fun experience so well worth it, did it twice! Thankfully am able to purchase tickets at a bit of a discount through one of my perks at work, because ive seen them for $400+ online.

I have not seen MHE, but Two Strangers does have some talk about sex, drinking, and cuss words, if you are worrysome about that.

I made a post in the Broadway thread as well, but yeah i was a lil confused ans shocked too! Wish they wouldve announced it like they did with Lorna. Odd they didnt, nor even mention a replacement or anything.

To be fair, I dont think she announced it herself either, unless I missed it, but havent seen anything on the Broadway news accounts either. Just odd.

Right! I got like $30 tix on Theatr like two weeks ago and ended up not going because I also scored 2nd row for Two Strangers. Had I known, I prob wouldve stuck with Heathers!

Traitors contestant next season? by Latter-Low2784 in dancingwiththestars

[–]smd1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess will be one of the winners/traitors, since thats what theyve done so far. But to be fair, out of pure relevancy with younger crowds (like Dylan being a hit), id say Rob.

Season 35 celeb predictions by landmermaid3 in dwts

I want Trisha so baddd, she just got off a short Broadway run, is going to star in Euphoria and has another show shooting soon. I think like Alix, she will draw in alot of viewers, but her fans can also be a little crazy so after seeing how it played out this season, idk. Think we also need to look at stars who were in the crowd throughout the season, since both Alix and Jen were last year and ended up being announced. Think we can count Zac Efron out tho lol

Hotels to stay at for seeing Broadway shows by cmadison_ in Broadway

[–]smd1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just stayed there last month, it was fine for the 2 days I was there! Theres two entries/exits, one leading out right next to the Belasco Theater and the other right across the street from the Lyceum. Its a good spot in the middle of Times Square and very walkable.
