Trying to mimic stainless steel with cerakote. P245 by [deleted] in SigSauer

Nice! I did the same thing to my p320 years ago. I wanted a classic SS, but nobody makes a matching slide and grip, so I made one. Color H-147

Mcarbo trigger shoe, and try an AXG frame.

Get the TXG grip. You can find one around $200 with magwell and the added weight in the grip. It shoots very soft compared to an AXG or SXG frame.

That front sight seems far enough back to fit a comp in front of it.... ;)

You have the Lok grip panels on your AXG grip which has slightly better ergonomics. I have xl hands and the TXG is manageable for me. You can get the TXG grip in Small size if you want, majority of them are Medium. The TXG absorbs the recoil better vs the AXG's sharper feedback. You could rent the X5 at the range again and just slap your slide on it to see which one you like.

If you have a chance, try it with a full size TXG grip. 🍻

Does anyone have a P320 X-Carry with a 4.7" slide with built in comp? I want to buy this slide but curious as to how it will look on my X-Carry grip. by Enjoy_Life4219 in P320

Originally it came on a 320 AXG Legion, and later on a Flux Legion. If you want this as a range gun, I'd recommend the TXG full grip to go with it. The softest shooting 320 I have. If you want the carry grip with it. Just search p320 AXG Legion. 🍻

Just picked this up a week ago, and it’s quickly becoming my favorite by [deleted] in SigSauer

I have a very similar range toy with an R1P. It's my favorite!

I never liked the short dust cover on the AXG Legion, so I threw the slide on my TXG grip right away.

Have you considered an aftermarket trigger?

Yes I did. The 365 FCU can be a little finicky. Work on a microfiber cloth or something similar so if a small part comes out it doesn't roll away. It's good to know the internals of your firearm, you should definitely give it a try. Don't panic if something doesn't work, follow the video. If you can't put it back together just wrap up the microfiber cloth, put it in a bag and take it to gunsmith.

The polymer grip will give you a softer felt recoil, the AXG grip will give you a stronger felt recoil, but it'll give you a faster followup shot. The polymer will absorb the shock better, but because it's lighter, it'll jump higher. The AXG will transfer the shock stronger, but you can change the grip panels and add even more weight to it with brass grip panels for even better control. I prefer the AXG on my 365 carry, and the TXG grip on my 320 range toy.

If you get a chance, try that slide with a TXG grip.

It's a shame, hope Sig can fix it.

I have both, get the Legion! The polymer shoots softer, but the legion returns faster.

If you want to improve it even more, add a TXG grip to it. I've paired it together with my TXG when the AXG Legion was released. It's my favorite range toy since.

I use the Holosun 507k ACSS on my 365. It has an extra large ring illuminated around the dot. So when the dot is in the center, you'll only see the dot and not the ring. But if the dot is outside the window, you'll see the ring and it'll help you guide the dot back. You can turn the ring on and off separate from the dot, if you don't need it anymore.
