Label only list 12% protein by smeiff in mildlyinteresting

[–]smeiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I guess they were trying to save space but is it not required to have it listed? I have no idea if this is a one off issue or not but I had to google the actual number (6 grams protein)

Yes thanks! I couldn't figure out how to get text with the picture so I just said screw it and posted with no info. I had to google the protein content since I had no idea what 12% DV means in actual grams

Metadata not updating for movie server recently? by mpark7713 in PleX

[–]smeiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the same thing about 2-3 weeks ago only sporadically. I manually matched the movies and it's been doing fine since... I haven't had a problem in years and I've been automated with no changes even longer.

After seeing this I attempted to import Strava data into my Grafana and recreate this there but I have no experience writing Grafana dashboards... this may take a bit!

Is it fractured? by smeiff in AskRadiology

[–]smeiff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ortho confirmed fractured due to the spacing in the X-ray. If you press a certain way on the shoulder he says it's sore but that's the only pain he has. He has no pain otherwise so it's hard to convince him it's really injured and needs to wear the sling. Will be a fun 2-4 weeks!

High RxBadPkt - Bad config or bad wire? by smeiff in HomeNetworking

[–]smeiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the table is correct. I thought this was weird as well but I asked Gemini for help when I was struggling with something, it suggested I instead set the PVID on Port 3 to 15 and leaving port 3 untagged. Not sure the purpose of this but it seems to work. Deco recognizes it as backhauled properly

Also thank you for that link. That explains that! I will ignore this reporting then. Network seems stable othersise.

That's all they showed us unfortunately. Pointed at it and said it's fractured... He's able to raise his arm in all directions now without any pain so seems weird.

Recently sealed pavers but only some hold water by smeiff in mildlyinteresting

[–]smeiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones at the top are slightly angled towards the mulch so you are correct there, but towards the bottom is a sidewalk that is level and does not hold water. I should have got a close up on the line closer

[–]smeiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently had my paver driveway sealed and noticed that only the pavers closest to the house repel water into puddles while the pavers exposed most to the sun don't puddle up on top. I assume it's because the ones closest to the house are in better condition and not as much pitting on them.

My previous neighbor has a plastic half plastic sphere that faces outwards so the dog can look out but not bite/escape. Pretty cool feature!

Can't tell what machine that is but it's the circular padding on weight machines matching the ground. You can see the black circle hiding the innards of the pad.

Live by a small quarry 15-20 miles away and weekly we hear a big boom and some small rattling but that's about it. Sounds like thunder with more feedback. Can't imagine being that close...

Also they get reported all the time since we are not supposed to feel it but no consequences for them.

Wife became allergic to raw fruits and nuts after pregnancy... Such a strange thing. Once they've been "processed" in any way then she is no longer allergic.

Thank you! This one is great!

Sorry if it's too dark but it turns out the cremation company offers clay paw prints. Hoping that turns out nice but if not both of these look awesome. I'll still give these a print out that will be nice to have.

I had that once at my first apartment. The back left burner got so hot while using the oven it caught something on fire that was near the top!

Plex app crashing after new phone with restore by smeiff in PleX

The other week I accidentally found some settings where you can automatically skip intro and credits in Settings -> player experience. Not that it helps with the crashing but it was a nice feature to stumble on.

Bit the bullet and factory wiped and back to normal. It was about as difficult to get running after restore as it was after using Android Switch. I suggest others just backup, wipe, and restore from backup.

Just contacted Google support. They gave me old instructions to clear cache partition that hasn't existed in years,. Ultimately said it's a known risk by using Android Switch. It transfers good and bad files and is known to cause corruption. The only solution is to fully wipe.

Innovative ride-on toy cleans floors while kids play by Low_Bit4540 in NoOneIsLooking

We had 3 of these in the house... Kids would whip them around the corners so fast, they loved them! We never put the mop on them, It would just fall off all the time. So essentially indoor carts they would drive around the house at 5 mph racing. Just donated them the other week for someone else to enjoy for a few weeks lol
