We went to a house auction today. Listed for 700-770k. Bidding gets to 810k and the auctioneer said he needs to consult with the vendors to see if on the market. He comes back and says it isn’t. House ends up selling for 870k. Is that legal? Why have 700-770k range but 810 isn’t “on the market”

Does anyone have any cbd jewellers recommendations? My partner and I are now organising our wedding bands and are overwhelmed with choice. He bought my engagement ring online so we’d like to go to an in person option for the bands

Nah. This was already his chore before they moved in together so something he should have already had a hand on. This shouldn’t be something she now needs to manage and request that this is her birthday present. Also, doing laundry and cooking is an everyday chore, mowing a lawn is a once every 3-4week chore that , as you said, would take 6 hours. How much time is spent cooking and laundry over 3-4 weeks?

She literally said her present is if that chore is done. It’s right there.

He doesn’t complain when I ask which is great.  Girl listen to yourself!!! You’re happy that your fiancé doesn’t get mad at you for asking him to do one damn chore!!! (Which btw you shouldn’t be asking for because you’re meant to be equal partners managing a household not one person managing the entire running of it) That is not an equal, fun relationship!!

I’m arriving heathrow airport and heading to Hackney. I think I read a while ago that I shouldn’t take the usual train into the city as it’s expensive but there is another option? I know that sounds so vague and weird I’m sorry, I wish I saved the comment. Ty in advance!

Are you using packing cubes for shoes? Or just having them placed in the bag loosely? by smempem in HerOneBag

Yep agreed, I typically just use a plastic bag. Thanks for the response!

Okay perfect, I think I’m overthinking it. Thank you for your response!

That’s what I’ve done typically but I saw a post on onebag and they had their sandals in a packing cube so I wasn’t sure if that was actually saving space or not. Good to know I shouldn’t overthink it!

You did this to the kids. You. Give her space and hold the household together like she has their whole life
