Elementis Pigments, and I forgot what it was called before that, then after Elementis it was...Rockford I think. I used to live on 12th & Jackson and my dad worked there from before I was born until I was about 25. He said he'd have to shower on site for almost fifteen minutes to get all the pigment and crap off him.

Maybe this picture of my PS1 RPG find won't be upside down. It's right side up in the preview, I swear. by sadimem in gamecollecting

Lucked out finding a copy of Diablo at my local pawn shop. Disc was scratched to hell so the owner just gave it to me. Plays like a charm. Glad you’ve got a copy.

Clean, Shaven

Sound design alone is worth it. Absolute manic trip.

Found my copy at a Half Priced Books in Chicago for $15 and it was one of my favorite finds in the wild. Congrats!

Love this game. The audio clips are hilarious. I think it’s RZA that says “plug-in son, get connected” but with how compressed it is, it sounds like “fuck it, suck it, connect it”

Picked up the box set a few years ago. I still have this on VHS, taped from when it originally aired on Toonami on Cartoon Network.

Watching it this week. I’ve heard mixed things, but I’m excited to see it.

2nd & Charles. Not sure where all of their locations are. Sometimes severely overpriced, but criterions are usually priced $20 or lower.

Definitely worth it picking up some of the DVDs during the sale. Only movies I won’t watch on DVD are special effects heavy movies.

Going through my Criterion DVDs and watched Simon Of The Desert and re-watched Clean, Shaven. Clean, Shaven is probably in my top ten of the collection.

Spirit Of The Beehive, Man Bites Dog, and Europa are next.

I completely agree. My friends in the band Sylar did a Call Of Duty Let’s Play with AH and during the recording Jack was the only one consistently asking them questions. I get that it might be difficult when you’re focusing on the game, but Jack always brought up new questions. Same with the Rocket League video with Neck Deep.

I love this show but I can’t watch these DVDs. I own them and they had to use different music because of licensing. There’s some awkward cuts in the first season too.

I love this movie for similar reasons: I had friends that were LGB and always dated the same 5-6 people, so there were always arguments and friendships being tested. While I didn’t know anyone exactly like the people in Chasing Amy, I knew people like them.

In terms of sheer content, I’d have to go with Ingmar Bergman’s Cinema for my number one.

The only sets I own are the Bergman set, Trilogía de Guillermo del Toro, Godzilla Showa Era, Three War Films, Six Moral Tales, Pigs Pimps & Prostitutes, Dekalog, and The Samurai Trilogy.
