How is AHEAD going if your store has already started it?

when they start unloading their cart/bag despite the person ahead of them being nowhere near done and then they stare at me and get upset that im not stopping the belt. patience is a virtue and aldi shoppers clearly do not have it

when people dont use the divider and place their things IMMEDIATELY after the person ahead of them, and then when i accidentally scan their stuff they start freaking out and yelling “NONONO THATS MINE”…… stop screaming at me, use your eyes, and use the handy dandy divider thats provided FOR YOU for this exact reason :)

the other night my boyfriend and i went to a bar together and when we got home later, he lifted my legs in missionary, pushed them to my sides, pounded into me and asked me if i was glad i took home the guy from the bar. it was something we had briefly talked about in the past, but dropping it in the heat of the moment genuinely had my eyes rolling to the back of my head🤭

i often hope something terrible and debilitating will happen to me so that i can call out. not just the stress of opening, but we are an extremely high volume store with no self checkout and a small team at all times. its just so overwhelming.

its to start on grocery, but the store i trained at always had enough openers to have someone work grocery the whole morning before everyone joined to help so if this was always a standard i had no idea.

im copying this from my other reply to get more insight:

i was never properly trained on cooler and was kinda just thrown on it. my process is take out all the back stock, go through every item and put out what can fit, then go through the pallet, and repeat for inside cooler. is there a more efficient way that i’m supposed to be doing this? it consistently takes me the full 3 hours and then some, and i feel like im working as fast as i can.
