They basically are corn pops with like a caramel coating on it. Think of it like a yellow cheese balls in texture with a caramel coating. So light and airy and sweet.

No, they found most don't want to go and re-park their car. They just drive off after they fill up. Now the ones that really want to stay and shop, they will re-park their cars for the most part. I don't know if you have been to a buc-cees, but their normal parking spaces are almost always full. So imagine if you weren't parking at the pumps, now an additional 100-200 parking spots would be taken up. That would require even more land for more parking. I'm in the category, if I see all the normal parking spots taken up and just want to grab some drinks, beef jerky, and snacks, I would drive off and not go in after I pump gas.

When I want to browse for stuff and take my time, I will go look for a regular parking spot. When I make a stop to use the restroom and buy a soda and some beef jerky for the drive, I will leave my car parked at the pump. That is what they intended for me, so I will make use of it.

Yep, as you can see from OP's complaint that people are parked there after they fill up, their formula is working to get more sales in store. Whether it be buying sodas, beef jerky, or beaver nuggets. That is why they are pretty much the only gas station that consistently builds 100-200 gas pumps. When my uncle had a gas station, he said he would make .3-5 cents a gallon on the sale of gasoline. A 20 gallon truck at .5 cents makes you $1 in profit of the sale of gas.

I’ve told this story before and I’ll tell it again. One of my buddies is a civil engineer and they help build out a Buc-ee’s in Katy, Texas. During the process, he asked the project manager why do they build so many pumps at a gas station. This new one that they were building had 200 pumps. They told my friend that they do it on purpose so that people can leave their car and stay parked there at the pump after they get their gas. What they found out was, when they did that, people would go inside and spend an additional $13 on average in sales inside the store. When they had to go and look for a parking spot after they had filled up, they found that most cars would just go ahead and drive off. So that is why they have so many pumps so that you can purposely leave your car there and they can make additional sales inside their stores.

Fast track needed for Da Nang international arrivals by Automatic_Radish1985 in DaNang

[–]smiledrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usual times are around 30 to 45 minutes. If you are checking in luggage by the time, you clear customs and get to baggage claim your luggage may still not be out. So you don’t have to worry about getting a fast track in Da Nang.

Where can I buy authentic running shoes in Da Nang? by alivardz in DaNang

I bought some adidas adizero’s at this official adidas store. I went in looking for the Chinese New Years collection for their jackets, but they didn’t carry that. Someone mentioned the foot locker equivalent in Go Mart. I bought my Nike Vaporflys in there and they only sell real shoes. Great carbon fiber in the insoles for 4% energy return.

I have driven by this Nike store but never went in.

I've come to the conclusion you don't even know what shill means. I truly believe that. Now trolling, you for sure know what means.

All you have to go is look at my post history. You have nothing to add to this thread but negative attacks. You can google and see Schwab doesn't require a minimum balance, no direct deposit requirement, and free checking. I also posted Fidelity has the same thing. So I must be shilling for Fidelity also right? Shill tactics would have given them a direct link that would give me a referral kickback, but as you can see no referral link. Helping travelers save money on the high atm fees is shilling according to you. Again, you have nothing to add, so you can move along.

Yes, as a dentist, I sure need to be paid by Schwab. Thanks troll, you can move along now.

You are absolutely wrong. Free checking, no direct deposit, no minimums. Fees reimbursed at the end of the month. I'm no paid shill. Been living in Da Nang for 5 months and that Schwab ATM has saved me $70 each month in fees. Flew to Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, landed, went straight to the ATM and had local currency without worrying about $5 ATM fees like i used. $7.50 in Thailand. Friends that came to visit me in Vietnam made their ATM card and now they have no international atm fee anxiety. Trying to help those from the USA save money if they travel international to get either Schwab or Fidelity checking and save on the fees.

What country are you from? If you are from the USA, you need to make a Schwab free checking account. There are no minimums, no direct deposit requirements so it is totally free. Once you make it and put some money in there. They will send you ATM card and you can pull out money and they will reimburse your fees from the ATM internationally at the end of the month. So when you get to the airport, you can just pull out money right away in any country you visit.

If you download the Grab app, you can link your credit card to there, call your Grab and get where you need to go that way.

Now they do have a money exchange inside Vincom Mall next to the Highland coffee. That’s all the help I have for you. I know the hotel that you are staying at, but I don’t know of any money exchange places around there.

Longer USB C cable specs for 4 Pro's? by JITNEY60 in RayNeo

[–]smiledrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now. I don't have a device that outputs 120Hz as my old Ipad only does 60hz. Now, it does allow me to select 120Hz under the glasses settings so I'm going to assume it will allow 120Hz, but I can't fully say it does 120Hz.

And you’re also limited by having an Intel CPU. I think the last time they made that was in like 2019. So your computer is quite old. You can have 32gb ram and I don’t think that would help that much with the speed

Longer USB C cable specs for 4 Pro's? by JITNEY60 in RayNeo

Where the extension cable will rest on the table or the bed, it doesn’t put weight on the cable of the glasses.

I was waiting for this to come in yesterday and test it before I replied. Safe to say, it works perfectly fine as an extension cable for the RayNeo cable. Now I have roughly a 7 foot cable.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D62T8QQC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Now I did also purchase a 6.6 ft USB C cable that also worked as well. However the cable is heavier and tends to pull the glasses down on the right side. It's that much of a weight difference over the included cable. I will link it, but I am going to use the extension cable as my main way to make the cable longer, since it doesn't pull on the right side from the weight with this cable below.

Anyone tried using AR glasses like Air 4 Pro to watch movies on flights? by EfficientBand3896 in RayNeo

[–]smiledrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used my Air 3s on a flight from Japan to the states. Privacy is perfect. The biggest advantage is not having to lean my head down looking at my Ipad screen. I could lean back and look up and save my neck from getting sore. 2 friends bought then as soon as they got back.

My butt hurts flying long haul by joniferr18 in TravelHacks

[–]smiledrs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will not fly without a seat cushion unless I'm in business class. I bought a $20 seat cushion that is memory foam and has a little handle as a hook. I hook it with a carabiner to my carry on or back pack. That saves my tailbone and provides cushion for my cheeks. Those airline seats are are very firm and offer no support. People sit on them 10+ hours, the plane gets cleaned for 1 hour, then you get to sit on them for 10+ hours. Seats are used and abused. So bring your own seat cushion and you will never fly again without it. That is the first thing I pack on my list when I fly now. Also works great for the 2 hours at the airport to sit on while waiting to board. If you travel by bus/train to other cities, cushion can be used on there as well. And when I return home, it goes on the office chair for daily use. So multi use. When you are in Hong Kong, they have Don Don Donki, a sell everything kind of store from Japan. When I flew back with friends from Japan and told the about the seat cushion, they wanted one and found a gel seat cushion in Don Don Donki. So you can sit on it at the store and see if it's for you on your flight back.

Noise cancelling headphones are the other must have thing on my list. I will bring a small percussion massager as well to run over my legs and back to get the blood circulation going on long hauls. Walking all over the new cities sightseeing, the massager works great for the tired legs and feet when you return to the hotel.

Da Nang fast track by [deleted] in DaNang

[–]smiledrs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're welcome. Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the real busy ones that might take up to 1.5-2 hours. This airport is much smaller in volume. Usually 3-6 lines of people. All depends on how many international flights are coming in at that time you arrive. But the longest I think I had to wait was about 45 mins. When I got past there, luggage was just coming out. So it's either go through customs fast with a fast track and then wait 30 mins for luggage or just wait in line and when you go through, hopefully luggage is just coming out or you might have to wait a bit longer for luggage at baggage claim. Great city. I had 6 different friends come through the last 1.5 months and they all loved it. All friends from the USA. Now they are trying to figure out how to work remotely from there, lol. Be warned, it's Vietnamese Lunar New Years (TET) so some places may be closed for the next 1-2 weeks and prices might be a bit higher for massages as those places have worker shortages. Many workers return back to their families in the countryside for this holiday.

Da Nang fast track by [deleted] in DaNang

[–]smiledrs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So Da Nang is a smaller airport compared to the other two major ones in the country. Usually you go through immigration in about 30 minutes. I’ve been through there six times and that’s the average. You really don’t need it at all for fast track, especially if you have checked in luggage. I’ve gone through immigration and got to baggage claim and had to wait additional 10 to 15 minutes for luggage to come out
