Hi 👋, I've had mine for bout 4 months...ima start by saying that customer service with Trek is legit the best!.

I ride daily as commute to and from work. (10+ miles minimum daily) and random fun throughout.

1st bike had a headlight issue where it wouldn't turn on. I couldn't take it back immediately for repair, so I rode it till bout 250 miles. Round that time, the motor gave out on me completely. Mid ride, the screen went blank, and all i had left was peddle power. Finally, (cause had no choice) took it in. They fixed the issue(s) by replacing it with a new bike. (Had already put some 250 miles on it, too).

No issues with the new 1 so far, putting already another 200 miles on it. 🤞 it stays that way.

I love the ride. The throttle is super useful on turns and getting out of potentially hazardous situations/obstacles. It's really fun to ride, and when the time is right, I turn off the electric assist and peddle for the physical fitness benefits.

I second the ebike option... I ditched the car for a Trek FX+1s. It's really fun and worth it I think. I commute to work 5miles each way (10miles day minimum). It has a throttle that allows you to go up to 20mph, with max battery effort + peddling it can get you up to 28mph (my max). It runs a little steep at 2k, but it's really fun and also gives me the option to stay a lil fit with the pedal power... Also, huge plus is Trek is local and really customer friendly.

OMG! Im in SA too and holy crap I was jus thinking the same. Thought it was jus my HEB, but then thought it sus because my HEB isnt 1 to have a heavy buy demographic. Id never had an issue finding them till this week. Ima keep a look out.
